Anyone can brag on SL. I have alot of nice things in inventory but you don't see me bragging about it. As a former dancer I could smell the BS from a mile away. Like some others have mentioned, there is the "payment info on file" thing in your profile. Thats usualy how a dancer knows if they will be tipped by the person or not. As a dancer they realy souldn't care if payment info on file or not. It's their job to be friendly to everyone.

MM makes nice boats. It looks like it is Copy and Mod so you can play with the animations and scripts. If you screw it up theres always another copy.

After spending alot of time on mp lately, I have noticed prices for things have gone up. Not only have they gone up but they have gone up to a rediculously high amount. Is the SL ecconomy realy all that great that merchants feel they can rais their prices?

I am trans so I have a female avi for diffrent reason as a guy would. It's easier to find items, shapes, skins, clothing and such for female avis. That and people tend to readily help if your a female avi. THats just my observation from 3 and a half years on sl. Good luck with the article.

For a week now I have not been able to find the folder with all my MP store creations. So far no one has complained that they didn't recieve anything. However, it would be nice to add to that folder and access things I built thats on my mp store. Any ideas?

With the new ghostbusters curently being filmed, the Enoch Brothers ghostbusters game seems to be growing in popularity. It's quite fun. I have been playing for a year and a half and come across a few who play. However, there realy isnt any place that has the full game set up. Till now. For some reason LLs has a limit on how many items can be in "myoutfits". What I have done is moved everything clothing wise into "clothing" folder. The clothing folder to my knowlage has no limits. At least i havn't found them yet.

Alot of interesting responses. Ahhhhhh to be a noob again lol. One good thing I have seen about noobs is people tend to give you things if they think your new.

In SL we are given limits on how many prims we can have out at any given time. I am curious as to what people think. Does the limits on prims help or hurt your creativity?

This happend to me recently. I IMed the owner of the sim sized store with no reply. Surely they have to come on frequently to pay for the sim. I am out 1400L because of it.

There is this guy on sl that seems to stalk me and other dancers that work at the club I work. He is constantly bugging people and causing a general nucense. The club banned him now he keeps comeing back to the club on alts. Lots of alts. Everytime he comes in on an alt and we know its him we ban him. However, this is the 6th alt of his we have had to ban. It is getting realy anoying not to mention stressfull for the club owner and staff. Is there anything that can be done to get his IP address banned from a sim? Any suggestions on how to deal with this would be appreciated.

LOL my parter did that on little mos eisley. He discovered some idiot had set their door code to 12345 lol.

I am starting a thread to see what older residents see new people do. This morning I was driving on the rout 66 custums track and there was someone on a pose stand right in the middle of the track editing their apperance. So what things do you see new people do? And how do we teach them the right way of doing things?

Ok here is my take on the confederate flag. It is a part of our history as a nation. Not a very pleasent part of history but a part of history none the less. That said, it belongs in a museum and not some state building. You don't see people flying the nazi flag do you? As for LL's banning the confederate flag goes, we still have freedoms in this country and that includes the freedom to own one of those flags thats contravercial.

Most SL jobs that pay are club related. Dancers, Hosts, DJ's and even Managers. All of those are tip based. some get 100% of your tips. Most clubs take 20% of your tips for the privlage of working for them. In average club you may take home 200 to 300L if your good enough. If you dont have too much expences in sl it might be ok to have one of those jobs.

As a club manager and haven been a GM for one club, you did ythe right thing by asking if anyone else was offended. Why worry about losing one guest out of no telling how many that were not offended by it. The point is at least you asked.

Here where I live fast food places can't charge for water. HOWEVER, if you want it in something other then a shot glass sized cup, you have to pay the amount as if you were buying a medium or large soda. Suposidly its for the "cup".

I think it's because they have no clue how to go to a sim and click on the job aplication form. So they post here hoping someone will respond. I always try and remember what it was like to be new. One thing I found out early on is most jobs are club based. Most clubs don't hire anyone under 30 to 60 days old. That said We all wanted to have L$ of outr own. I still enjoy working for everything i get in world. There is just some great satisfaction about that vs buying L$ with real $.

Interesting because a club I work at often has 2 raffles going for 50L a piece. One is usualy to raffle off an object such as a bed or motorcycle. The other is usualy for 500L.

SL is what you make of it. It has many diffrent things to do. You can RP anything you watn from pirates to police and fire to midevil knights. You also CHOOSE to pay for things. You can actualy live free in sl. There are plenty of shops and items in marketplace that offer free stuff. Theres also options for privacy. Skybox temp rezed in a sandbox is one. Also plenty of free to use places on the grid. So sl is what you make of it. Theres no reason to realy spend alot of money on a virtual world. People use alts for diffrent reasons as they are on the grid for diffrent reasons. In my 3 and a half years I have learned alot about SL. They say it has no goals but alot of people seem to try and have the most toys and most L$ they can possibly get. But that doesnt have to be your goal. Enjoy SL and do as you want long as you follow the tos rules.

If I had 50,000L to spend in one day I would probably rent a sim for a week. A full sim.
