Theres some pretty cheap apartments out there. I have seen some places fro 20 or 30L a week.

If everyone had a Linden home even free accounts, then there would be no reason for anyone to get a premium account. There are plenty of places for people to set their home to for free. Alot of sims if you join their group will alow members to set home there. But the point is LLs has to give some incentive to upgrade.

There are just some things that you just can't do with mesh. For instance, certain mesh can't be linked. and when it is linked it ups the prims considerably. Also one thing bout some mesh buildings is it won't let you rez inside the building. Some of the newer mesh buildings have gotten better about rezzing inside but still some out there that cant. I think a combonaiton of mesh and prims works out the best. Alot of my buildings are a combonaiton of the 2.

Doesn't sound like someone you want to keep doing business with. They obviously don't want your money so go elsewhere to buy what you need.

I am sure this probably has been asked before but I am wondering what the best settings for inventory cach? Currently I use the default of 512 but is their better setting to improve performance?

There is someone using a US federal government agency logo for their rp group. How does someone go about reporting that to LLs?

After an update to the viewer lastnight i noticed everything I put on ups my "visual complexity". First off what is visual complexity? Is there any way to turn that off from popping up everytimg you put clothing on or tp someplace?

Gotta love KittyCats. They are cute and curious lol. Not sure if they are returnable, but they are no copy. Typicly the KittyCats return to their set home location. Perhaps someone before you had the house and had them and forgot to reset their home. Still if you fell in love with them so much get one, 2, 3, 4 maybe more lol. They are adicting.

There used to be a place that offered starter apartments for 25L a week. Not even sure if it's still around or not.

I can see advantages to using your older account. IT probably has more inventory. Maybe even better inventory depending on how long the main account vs your alt account. I can only speak for me but my main account has all the good stuff while my alt has the freebies and hardly ever comes online unless i need to do something with it. But yeah like a previous person said that with age comes expierience. At least in theory lol.

I build buildings and themed skyboxes. Some are part mesh what mesh parts i can find full perm at reasonable cost. When I first started building, mesh was just comeing out. I still primarily build in prims. But I price accordingly and still end up making sales. some people just prefure prim over mesh. I would say stick to what you know and do well and price accordingly.If you love building in prims and sculpty don't give up on it. It ain't dead yet.

In addition to what was said above, Managers run the contest board. Usualy opening and closing the board and open voting. Some managers also come up with event ideas and act as security. Some clubs pay their managers by the event others work on tips.

There are plenty of combat sims on SL weather it's military, fantasy, midevil, and even urban. All of wich use health meters.Health meters bring your avis healh down when shot or in contact with any impact weapon. Some health meters have heelers others auto self heel. so yes combat of all types exsist in sl if thats what your into.

My personal prefrense is SL viewer. I have tried Firestorm, Singularity, and CoolVL viewers but always go back to the LLs viwer. For me on this old laptop it is the least lagy and least complacted. Although, if i had to use any other view other then SL viewer I would use Singularity. Singularity is simple and not bogged down with compacated stuff. But,it takes some getting use to. For instance, it doesnt have a home button. You have to actualy go into the world menu to tp home. Same with faverates. All in all if SL viewer is working fine for you for several years why change. But it is nice to have a backup.

How about a street scene. Your land doesn't need to be taken up by a giant house and nothing else. With the street scene you could have a small club for your dj booth and dance pole. You could also have another building for your photo studio. Maybe a condo or apartment building for your actual living space with the pool and hot tub. You could make it look realy nice. Your imaginaiton set fee to create.

I have heard of people accepting objects from people you don't know and the object can mess things up and or take L$ out of your account. New people are always warned not to accept anything from people they don't know. As for sim causing a viras no but some sims are often so laggy that it can crash your system and or SL.

If you have ever looked on mp for anything, lets say you type in mp search police uniform. You typlicy get sexy police uniforms for women, or anything else you search for. For some things i have had to resort to the male version in order not to get the sexy version. People assume that all women in sl want to be sexy not practical.

They look like zombies to me lol. Ironicly they all look like LL's default avis. It's obvious they are up to something.

eleting theme seemes to work. Now to see if its only temperary or more permanant salution. Its easy to delete them all at once. Just simply click on the top name to highlight it then scroll to the bottum of the list and hold shift key and click enter. that highlights all of them to delete.

It seems to me my inventory gains "items" when i log on. I have figured out it's the calling cards. They tend to multiply like rabbits lol. First off why do they do that? Second, is there any way to stop it from doing that? It is getting anoying filling up my inventory.

Freebie Galaxy is awsome for those new to sl. Yeah alot of their stuff is outdated but its still decent. Even at being over 4 years in sl I still sometimes pop in there and wonder around.

Reading this post makes me wonder what you were thinking to begain with in being rl male in female avi in the first place. I am Trans and there are many transgender people on sl playing the gender they identify with. That is fine but, you need to be hounest with those you are in a relationship with or want to be in a relationship with. It's in my profile that I am trans so everyone who dates me knows i am and no surprises. Best advice I can give is be hounest from the begaining.

SL it'self isn't a game. However, there are games within sl such as greedy. To me the virtual platform of sl is more like an evolved chat service with sims being like an updated chat room.

Yes it is simple. I do this with with my alt alot sending stuff to her from my maain account. Simply right click share and a window will come up of your friends list and click the name you want to share it with. They will recieve it in inventory when they come online.
