  1. What Clover said : you have to wear the Omega relay each time you want to apply an Omega applier.
  2. If your hairs are editable, you can also the Alpha mode under the Texture tab.
  3. I really don't have this issue with my Belleza Venus and I've a very pale skin which would make a skintone difference even more obvious and I've none. So I'm really not sure the problem is there.
  4. What Angeoco said. You need mesh eyes with your Catwa head.
  5. That's a a very wide question and if you read blogs and found no answers there -while most blogs are usually very detailed and explicative-, I don't really see how we can help? 1. A meshbody is worn as a replacement of your default body. Therefore you need to wear an alpha to hide your default avie under it. 2. Most things you used to wear are now on your meshbody : the layers are now layers on your meshbody. The system layers are now applier layers on your meshbody (you're limited to 1 texture per layer, instead of 10 per layer on the system avie). 3. Mesh clothing is very much inspired from RL. In RL you wear the cloth, you don't texture it on your body and mesh clothings is just this. 4. Because this is 3d environment there can be some clipping issues between a mesh cloth and a meshbody, which can be fixed with the Alpha (show/hide this or that part of your meshbody) on your meshbody HUD.
  6. Hmmm. I looked at the pic, zoomed in and I'm not sure it comes from the skin. Did you checked the shininess on the layers too?
  7. If you're not the art creator himself, you can't do nothing directly. You still can contact the original creator and fill him about what's happening here then it'll be up to the original creator.
  8. I like Jian, this store has some really nice decorative animals but I've not seen any pet in this store. A long time ago -before meshes-, I bought a tabby cat at A.I.F. Pets. It still looks good for a primy thing. It has a Feed, Pat, Play, Call, Bath options. It can also be hold (Hug) to walk with it on other sims. I know the store also has pet dogs. If you don't find A.I.F. pets, I'll give you the surl. It's probably not 100% exactly what you're looking for but it may be worth a look there.
  9. Yes. If you're new I would definitely recommend to avoid no-demo items. Shopping after shopping, you'll find your own favorite stores that you know you don't need to demo but as a start? Demo or don't buy. Except the outdated meshbodies, there's not really such thing as bad meshbody. Some are popular and offer a wider choice of clothings (Maitreya Lara, SLink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Freya and Isis) and some others are more niche meshbodies for those who are looking for something very specific. So this is something you have to consider : how wide you want your wardrobe? I suggest you've a look at meshbodyaddicts blog, the review is well done and even with pictures. You can find fantasy stuff for most of the meshbodies. Sometimes it requires some creativity. For example : my best ranger/hunter pants I found was a black leather pants in a biker store. I would suggest Pixel Box for some nice steampunk-lolita clothings (but they do nothing for Kemono, cf my 1st comment). Animations for meshbodies and heads rarely interfere with AO. "Standard" AO will animate your meshbody only. Bento AO will also animate your fingers (there are also AO to animate tails, hooves, etc... and Bento HUDs to animate your head).
  10. Upgrading an avatar to this or that meshbody often means to upgrade a wardrobe too. I don't have a male meshbody so I can't point to stores selling shoes for Belleza Jake but you can consider to look for unrigged shoes, they can be resized and reposition so they can fit every pants. There are many unrigged shoes available on the mp.
  11. Hello, We all started at your point so no problem to ask, and most of us like their meshbodies too so we'll gladly help you to feel easy with it. 1st step : make a backup copy of your meshbody. This is SL so you may or may not encounter a bug/update/glitch that will impact negatively your meshbody. 2nd step : take a moment to become familiar with your meshbody HUD. There are usually user-friendly and it doesn't take that long to understand what does what and how. Clothing layers can not work on your meshbody. Remember that your meshbody is an attachment and you can not apply clothing layers on an attachment. Appliers for meshbodies are directly inspired from clothing layers : instead of wearing a textured layer on your avie, the applier applies the textured layer on your meshbody.
  12. I really hope they've not yet stopped working on the Feed at the 1st signs of responsiveness because nothing is fixed at all. Some can post and some can not post. Yeah back to the previous broken state, no changes, no fix yet.
  13. Lucky you, I can not even post a text on my own Feed.
  14. I'm not sure SL was either designed to be an all-in-one "3d-Photoshop-Illustrator-Maya-Blender-Instagram-FB" virtual platform? So while you're correct, I still fail to see the point? Not everyone logs in for photography either. I think you even mentioned it yourself here : "the only thing holding up SL are fashion events. Take those out and the grid would be pretty much dead."
  15. Yes, I got this too. But I don't read it as a sign of progress. I read that, when a LL employee says "we're working on it, please be patient" then they're actually working on it. All the Feed problems are back live, that's true but actually, I suspect that things are now worse on the website side.
