  1. Hanging out before my next flight from Boragora to more unknown locations in Bellisseria. Where will Eva and her crazy Grumman Goose travel to this time?
  2. My very first Bellisseria Home was a Houseboat I picked up near the beginning of Bellisseria back in 2019... 8 moves later over the span of over 2 years this boat is situated on it's 9th location. This however is the first time I retrofitted "The Same Boat" for a square lot.
  3. You do realize with EEP that you also have the option to choose an EEP and set it to yourself instead of using "shared environment." It should not be on the shoulders of land owners to make sure your experience of shared environment is to your liking. Choose a consistent EEP and set it to yourself and you will have zero issues with crazy environment changes. Also for the record I am an explorer and a pilot. I travel over peoples Bellisseria parcels every single day and never have an issue when i set it this way. Also it allows me to create an EEP that I enjoy personally for the purposes of exploration.
  4. I spotted this today while out on a routine flight in my Goose around Bellisseria. Thank you to Patch Linden, Abnor Mole and the entire team of Lindens and Moles for memorializing Ebbe Altberg (Ebbe Linden) in such a beautiful way! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Altberg/147/132/58
  5. Hopefest is a great way to join with other SL residents in supporting the Relay For Life in Second Life. Go check it out http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/RFL HOPE/109/203/23 Who knows you might even get lucky and meet Patch Linden or one of the Moles...
  6. Updated work on Boragora... Added in rustic old windmills made out of leftover airplane parts...
  7. Where exotic treasures are sought, weary pilots rest up, and ghosts pass through... Boragora... Home of the Tales of the Gold Monkey...
  8. I believe what happens is when you get a linden home the original landing zone is dead center on the land parcel that contains your home... for some home themes that may be inside the house other themes outside the house... and in the case of Houseboat in the drink.... As people have already said you have total control over creating a new landing zone in your house or creating new landmarks to give to your friends. But celebrate that you got a houseboat. They are the hardest to come by homes these days and you got one. Enjoy it!
  9. it's because you picked up a houseboat. Houseboats are awesome and congratz on landing one. Fly up and you will see your new home.
  10. I will be forever grateful to everything Ebbe contributed to Second Life. I never voice but one time I had an opportunity to voice with Ebbe and I took it. I'm so glad i did that now. Prayers and hugs to his family and all the Lindens and Moles that worked with him. RIP Ebbe
  11. The great thing about flight... It always brings you to a new horizon... Here is to a new horizon! PS: Thanks to my friend Becca for painting my Goose... It now feels like something straight out of Tales Of The Gold Monkey
  12. I hope the 2 people that got all the stilts in both Lost Caves and Prairie Schooner enjoy them... We knew how that was going to go... Again...
  13. Hey you are right... I turned it upside down... Looks just like a Fat Cat!!! With a.... Nevermind
  14. Please NO to this Abnor... there is enough old mainland grass we do not need more of it.
  15. It looks like a... nevermind.
  16. Sorta related to this topic... I would like to find the best way to put out some off-parcel aviation lights. My first instinct is to go with Full bright plus particles but I suppose I could use some excessive glow with a flashing script... Any thoughts... Or should I just use all of the above?
  17. Yes and No... No putting an avatar on that plot will not increase your chance of getting that plot. But in my experience what people are doing is trying to monitor the release of a region. Now I'm sure Abnor may correct me if I'm wrong on this. But generally these regions that are going to be hand released because they are not of the cloned variety will at some point get a visit from a Linden to do whatever the Linden needs to do to them before a release. At some point then that region gets a fresh restart. What these people are doing is to try to track a region's release by loitering on those lots usually during the business hours of Linden Labs. Now say a Linden comes by and restarts that region. We all know what happens. Your computer gets that annoying BONG BONG BONG alert like an alarm clock warning you that it is going to shut down. Now that person loitering there with their avie/alt will ready up their 1, 2, 3, 12, 45 premium accounts to hit the webpage as soon as that region comes back online because most likely that means a release is coming once that region has a Linden present and a restart. I live in one of the Log homes on Lost Caves so I see this play out EVERY SINGLE WEEKDAY... And yes it is annoying.... Please Linden Labs just release those stilts already and stop doing half region releases so those of us with homes on the half that are released don't have to see our new home region littered with loitering alts.
  18. This may not be as big of a deal as it used to. Although I suspect ones under 32 without a lot of pose menus still are going to perform the absolute best, the big issue for me has always been whether a boat crosses region borders good or not. Since the cloud move region crossings have been one of the better improvements. And i did take out one of my bigger boats last week and had no issues in region crossings. So i think they will likely work better then they used to but you will still get better performance out of a boat that is lighter on LI, lighter on scripts. EDIT: Also when buying a boat I always recommend buying from someone who has a store on a region that when you demo the boat you can cross regions (same with any kind of vehicle). If i can't test a region crossing in a demo I will not buy the vehicle.
  19. For future reference and to put it very simply..... when you add a music stream to your linden home parcel it stays on that parcel when you abandon the home. The reason your parcel had music is because the person who had it before you had that stream on your parcel. All you needed to do was change the music stream in your ABOUT LAND page or delete the old one. There was nothing broken about your home.
  20. This is gonna sound so bad but I have bought so many Bandit boats now I cant even remember if I bought the 170
  21. I definitely won't be taking tips from people who practice questionable GOH practices.
  22. I kinda wish in Bellisseria that the settings on parcels were made by default so that NOBODY could turn their lot into an unlimited time sandbox. This is unfortunately causing all sorts of issues like this through Belli. If there is anyway for LL to set it so that at bare minimum non-owner non-group objects would return in 15 minutes that would end most of these problems
