Hello! I'm currently looking into becoming a DJ in SL, but I was wondering if there's a place where I can test out the audio to make certain everything works before I start booking gigs. I do have a little DJ experience IRL, mostly with EDM and it's insane amount of subgenres (all of which I adore), and I already have my Serato DJ Pro software. I don't have my turntables since I had to leave them behind before a recent move, but idk if they're necessary for the small gigs I wanna do for the time being. I can still do seamless mixes without them. All I need now is a place to make sure everything I have currently works and is set up correctly so that I don't ROYALLY f*ck up a set.
Hiya! I just moved into my new Linden Home this week. I haven't added a stick of furniture except for a pose stand. Tonight I was at a club, so I had the music turned on. When I teleported back home, there was music playing. I thought that it was a neighbor (I've already had to mute a constantly playing piano.) But the music is actually confined to my house. The minute I step off the porch, the music stops. I step back onto the porch, the music starts again. I can find nothing in the Firestorm Preferences. The only way I can turn it off is to shut off streaming music. Ive had other Linden Homes and this is the first time Ive had this problem. Any one have any suggestions? Thanks!
I'm streaming my guitar and mic using Butt (broadcasting using this tool) through a Behringer 1024 usb mixer and getting quite low volume inworld I've checked all my levels in my PC sound settings I've even tried running the mixer through a focusrite audio interface with out any difference. I am audible inworld but I have to turn the levels right up any ideas to increase my volume without clipping / settings other people are using would be appreciated Thank you.
Hello! On my own sim, how can I go about streaming my music for the sim? For example, I'd like to select a collection of songs to put on shuffles. Not sure if that makes sense but I have no idea where to start. Please let me know if you have experience with this.
