However, I think we can effect important changes in our lives through focusing on attributes we'd like to embody. Most of my new year wishes/resolutions were focused on inner attributes that I think align with what our higher selves/God would want. I think this parable describes it best: ♥ An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. A one-liner as an explanation of what you resolve is fine but a whole religious tract is pushing it a bit. I mean, you wouldn't want me doing that, would you?
