Ironically enough, SL being "boring" is one of the chief complaints.

To me, SL will only be boring if there is no one there and it's a bunch of interactive "bots" of some kind.

Btw, how is Blackjack not a skill game? You have to be able to figure out your odds of winning or losing your hand.

In a real RL casino Blackjack is the only game where the player can have a very slight advantage over the dealer, but that is more theoretically than anything else, otherwise the casinos would not offer that game.
And casinos don't play out all the cards from the pack before reshuffling.

They are exactly the tatts that are on my avatar.  Broad outlines of angel wings, copied from the Japanese Rock star Hyde, then extended all the way down my butt.

ETA: I've posted my avatar's tats on the forum in some Adult thread before. It's not appropriate for the General Forum though. Too much butt.

Yes they do even though it's not cheating. If I can mentally figure out my odds, that's just me using a skill. But you're right, the casinos label it cheating and will toss your tush into the street if they seriously suspect you doing it. And if you're out in one place, you're on the list in the others.

I know I got a serious sideways look from the dealer and one of the floor managers the only time I've been to Vegas as an adult and stood on 13 at Blackjack and won both times because the house went over. I hadn't seen too many face cards and sure enough, both times they came up against the house. I wasn't "counting" in the usual sense keeping a +/- mental tally, just had a fair inkling of seeing face cards.

Sorry, I don't read the adult section. 

My point was so many people get tatts of things like someone's name or a phrase and later regret it. It's not fun to get things like that covered with another tatt. I got lucky.

Blackjack isn't the only card game card counting is used on. 

I'm not going to get into a discussion as to whether or not it is cheating. It isn't something everyone can do.

For the reality to match, I guess we'd need prettier/better-dressed avatars, better casino poses, better photographs..

I guess the biggest difference to me is, in the official pictures the avatars are animated / posed to look more "dynamic" (even if "posed") whereas in the picture Gwin posted, everyone is using the "sit" animation for the game.

Odd how the avatars look so tiny, compared to the huge table also - and they are so far apart, which makes it look "a lot less social".

Gwin just carries this lovely pastel-coloured ambiance with her wherever she goes. Or, a sim's EEP automatically adjusts to her whenever she enters -- I'm not sure which.
