Describe your talents and experience, and give some idea of what range of things you might be interested in doing. SL doesn't really have a lot of "jobs" that pay more than pocket change. Business owners can do most things themselves unless they have a rather large business. The best paying work in SL is in creative fields (scripting, mesh modeling, animating, ... ), in performance fields (music, primarily), or in real estate (owning rental property, largely). Just to name a few: 1. It's a Second Life role play job, exactly what you were asking for in the title. 2. It's a window to an alternative life-style, an chance to view the world from another perspective. A character-building opportunity. 4. Its not like there are actual SL jobs. No trash collectors, police, lawyers, doctors, teachers, nurses, judges, or any of that. At least nothing outside of RP that is. And they dont usually pay with L$. If you can texture clothing, paint pictures, make animations or a multitude of other things you can open your own shop and sell in SL.
