  1. Go to you Recent tab in Inventory. Open the Filters (maybe via a gear-like icon or something). Bump the days to 2 or 3. See if the show up in the display.
  2. The only way you get to that page is by clicking on something from the official Grid Status page -- thus, of course it is for real. And the page tells you specifically WHY it is asking for your email address -- i.e. "SUBSCRIBE TO UPDATES". Any time you SUBSCRIBE to anything, you have to give an email for the subscription. You should not have to provide an email address to log into the viewer. Logins are always by username and password. Viewers don't even have a place for an email address on the login screen, so I'm not sure what you are even referring to here. Under one of you menu items - probably under Me somewhere - there should be some sort of option to Stop Animations.
  3. You can filter out words using NOT (in caps), though it is an exact match, which only partially helps. Thus "NOT demo" would filter anything with the single word 'demo' in it, but not filter out things like '_demo' and 'D*E*M*O', which creators use to get out basic filtering. I'm pretty sure a JIRA is already open for this, though no clue where it lives in the priority list. As to reporting a listing for keyword spamming, you can do that now. On the right side of the listing page, click the 'Flag this item' link: Then select the appropriate categories:
  4. Whirly provided this link earlier in this thread: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/3486-marketplace-secondlife-com-tools You also have to install a user script manager: https://greasyfork.org/en/help/installing-user-scripts After installing those, the keywords show in read right below the item picture
  5. Yeah, stats are pretty close to normal numbers now, so in theory things have improved. Now, as long as they can keep it stable.
  6. Online users still isn't back to normal numbers yet, so I'm only somewhat optimistic about my login. Then again, I'll be heading out for the evening in RL in a short bit anyway and won't be logging back on until tomorrow after work.
  7. Actually, it all started going sideways about 11-12 hours ago. Tis often the case when the Grid Status page says there are login issues and when tons of people post many threads about login problems.f There are a few isolated times when a re-install will help after lots of crashes. I simply went away for an hour and came back and logged in fine. Whenever there are grid issues and some people can log in but others can't then it is often recommended to try logging into another location.
  8. This would be my guess also since some folks were in for long periods off and on today. I did try logging in to a few different locations, but apparently all of the ones I chose are impacted by whatever is going on.
  9. Yep - the system has been having issues for about 10 hours or so now. You can amuse yourself reading all the various threads about it here.
  10. In other words - we really have no clue what is causing this and thus no idea how much longer it will take to fix it.
  11. And Firestorm is the viewer that I keep trying, but can't manage to get in again. Pretty much nobody in the US takes time off work for Halloween.
  12. I managed a 5-10 min login a short bit ago. Just enough time to rescue one of my kitties that the system was trying to bork. I kept getting a 'cannot reposition' message, yet the home setting and range would not typically let the kitty get to the parcel edge.
  13. Yeah, early last year, after the latest forum changes, we could find that board real easy - there was a link to it under Activity or something up top. Then they made another change and magically all links disappeared.
  14. Hard to remember back a decade ago, but yes, far more than 5 in a day. Not to mention the days when you didn't get but one crash simply because it never even came up again for the rest of the day.
  15. Given the state of things today, I sure wouldn't try buying anything other than freebie demos for a while.
  16. And back to normal - at least based on the number of online users. It doesn't look like LL is calling it all good yet though. And rezzing inworld still seems problematic. Damn - just got logged out.
  17. There's the other thing - I'm on Windows 10 now and I swear that OS eats up more memory with every release. Some day, if I get curious enough, I'll have to go look and figure out how much the basic OS uses these days.
  18. They might have finally got enough food into them hamsters - things are looking up
  19. Key phrase hilited. It all depends on what you do with your computer and what else you run when running the viewer. I don't currently have any viewers running and I'm using 10 of my 16 GB. The programs that I have running are typical for me to always have running, even when inworld. My memory starts getting tight if I run more than one viewer and have at least one of them logged in almost the entire day (memory seems to creep up over long periods of time). I'm considering a memory bump, just to give it more breathing room when my multi-tasking gets extreme. ^^ This - can't say it enough
  20. From what I can tell, you are lucky - most people are fighting just to log in.
  21. Didn't you know? Today was the test for that.
  22. You can't. It's hard coded into the viewer. Correct - all the viewers always show SL time, which is PST / PDT.
  23. Yes but as you're one of the 12,000 logged in for any length of time, you're probably on a different server to the rest of us mere mortals. I knew it - she's one of those bots !!!
