Need help applying a skin to mesh body and standard avatar head
LittleMe Jewell replied to OhTheDrama's topic in Your Avatar
You can still buy System skins at 7 Deadly s{k}ins, LAQ, Pink Fuel, Adam and Eve, League, and maybe WoW Skins. All those places also have Body Appliers in the associated skin tone. I know there are a few more, but drawing a blank at the moment. Search the forums - we had a few posts about this not long ago. ETA: Also Dulce Secrets and Stix. Check 7 Deadly Skins current group join fee. She drops it quite often. If you are in the group, then there are lots of Midnight Mania boards and lucky letters and some of those will include the older skins and associated appliers.- 9 replies

I currently have a total of 8 Premium accounts, specifically because IF I am good and save the L$ stipends and cash them out, then the cost for each extra 1024 tier that the Premium gives me is only a few bucks a year. That being said, I am not awesome at saving ALL of those L$ stipends, thus my overall cost is a smidgen more, but still cheaper in the long run that paying the bump in tier.

Is there a valid map with continent names on them somewhere? I know back a decade ago, I had one bookmarked, but can't find it anywhere. Side question -- I know you mentioned before that you patio table/chairs were super low LI. Where did you get that set?

While we may joke around about a lot, don't ever be sorry for needing help - it is what we do here.

Noted. I actually had been to the website in a long time until you mentioned this in another thread recently. I've also bookmarked Strawberry's videos for future reference for folks.

I imagine that if LL thought smaller levels were a good idea, they would have done so a long time ago. That being said, I personally wish there were more in-between levels. I'd like to see a middle level between each current level from 8192 on (possibly from 4096 on). Open a JIRA - that is what they tell everyone to do with suggestions.

While this thread might be the most narcissist one ever, it has a long way to go to be the longest and most viewed. The original Let Die thread started on the really old Resident Answers forums in April 2008 and went until the forum software changed (in 2010, I think). It can be found here: http://forums-archive.secondlife.com/327/85/252954/1.html There were some hiccups getting it going again on the new forums, but eventually it got started here: https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/32554-just-ignore-and-let-this-one-die/ That one continued until this latest software version when the latest one started up, which can be found here: https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/402851-just-ignore-and-let-this-one-die/ So, other than a few breaks here and there, that thread has been going for a bit over a decade now.

Well, Happy Rezday to Debi !!

Yes, that is the one. I saw someone here mention it recently - probably you.

There are a few photo backdrop groups that have some awesome backdrops and will allow you to rez options. Backdrop City is one such. Comhar (?maybe spelled right) has backdrops also, but I don't remember if you can rez there. Then is also another Backdrop one, but I don't remember the full name. Many of the photos you see here are from those locations.

Confused -- Are you asking a question or trying to give information?

The question was bound to come

Will i be able to play ultra high?
LittleMe Jewell replied to Bunny Latoe's topic in Second Life Viewer
I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to run fine on that, unless it has any cooling issues. The CPU and Video card are both considered high end, with good performance ratings. ETA: That said, per the Passmark benchmark site, neither of them are necessarily good values for the money. -
Wow, that's either dedication to the cause or extreme boredom to begin with.

Pay for a Premium membership and then you can belong to 60 groups.

If they came from the MP then they should be in a folder called Received Items, not in the Objects folder. Check this article - about half way down:

You both stated your opinions but continued the back and forth past the point where it was pertinent to the topic of this thread. The last time LL put one of these threads here, two people started arguing and LL came in and deleted all of the posts that were part of the argument and reminded us all that the thread was for suggestions, not arguments. The result being that neither point of view remained in the thread for anyone to read now or later.

You don't actually need to contact the current land owner. Your 1024 sqm tier allowance is only good for mainland and when you find something, you simply right click the land and buy it - the land immediately belongs to you. I highly recommend @Lindal Kidd's class on buying land - Sat, I believe at Caledon Oxbridge University inworld. She'll be along soon to provide specifics.

Ahh, now a few more things make sense at least. -
I realize that this is really about the complainers, however I just wanted to point out that there are some of us that do not create but still contribute by the L$ that we spend for everyone else's creations. I do not 'create' in any way - hell, I don't have a creative bone in me and I'm perfectly happy with that. I am nothing but a "consumer" of goods in SL, but creators would be in dire straights if there weren't folks like me willing to constantly buy, buy, buy.
