  1. I have those chairs. Like @Marianne Little said, they are by Apple Fall but they are quite a catch too for they come in an extra box with the kitchen I showed (i think even in several colours) and that whole set is on the skyplatform where he has his discout articels. Don't remember exactly but I think the whole SET (also including a cupboard you can use well in ANY room) was around 300L$ - at least less than 600L$. A dining table is allso included and you can change the surface texture. Just like you I have VERY little stuff to use for home- decoration. I am rather a miser, mostly collected freebies over the years and only seldom buying stuff and if I bought only things like a Maytreya body or meshheads - furniture didn't interest me, for I only had a tiny flat with very little prim- allowance. Only when I discovered the new Lindenhomes that changed and when PixelMode had its closing sale I bought allmost everything they offered! ... that is 90% of the stuff I use
  2. Well last two weeks rain would have been a blessing to me. I have been in Baden Württemberg (near Heidelberg) and it has been dry like a desert and the hottest days any June has ever seen (near 40 Degrees) - Now I came to the north to Bremen and enjoy the cold (not even 20 Degrees) ... let it rain! I don't care! As long as I do not melt away like icecrem!
  3. I do admire your decorating talents ... but WOW ... How much furniture and decorating stuff do you have in your inventory?? seems a neverending stock! Allways something else!
  4. I was wrong! Just went inworld and looked. I do see all names, so I will try and make such a map myself, just took lots of screenshots. Seems just the right pasttime on a rainy Saturday afternoon ... planned to go to the cinema but not in this weather! *lol* Btw: I am using Singularity
  5. I wouldn't place any art there - the wall IS the art! - mirror might add to it - but isn't necessary.
  6. About the size I know - but with them being near the name I didn't. Anyway if I make a screenshot of the map - which is easy - it hasn't even the names on it so I could nit simply draw lines in paintshop. The names only show - one at a time - when I touch them with the mouse.
  7. By the way: if some Bellisseria citizen with time and artistic skills on his/her hand would do a service to the community: How about a MAP of the continent (a big pgn file to download - or to pass on as a texture inworld) with all the names and the SIM CROSSINGS on it? I can look inworld at the map and when I point to a special pace I can see how that region is called, but I cannot see where one beginns and the other ends and I cannot see all the names at once. Besides sheer curiosity and to be able to judge where I woud like or wouldn't like to live it is the SIM CROSSINGS that often make problems for vehicles and even pedestrians so it is good to know where they are.
  8. Me too!! I thought I wouldn't like a houseboat but after buying the Addon I loved it. Still I fail to see what on earth in the way of furniture I could put in a trailer! But I am sure once our Decoration- Queens show theirs I will be eager to try!
  9. And those voice morphers don't work there? What a pity! Best to invite him to your home and look into his .... ... passport! What did you thiink I meant?
  10. That's no good anymore! They gave as the last Premium Gifts .... VOICE MORPHERS!! Who needs that??
  11. I can only use 32 Versions - how about 7685 ??? PS: I installed it and it seems to work. With the last Version 7641 all my MONEY seemed to be gone. It was there allright but I couldn't use it.
  12. upstairs on the landing there is room for a little homeoffice Continental03 by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr and the bedroom is much easier to furnish when you devide it up and add a bathroom - an idea that I got from @Marianne Little Continental04 by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr Continental05 by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr By the way ... the cupboard in the bedroom is part of the kitchen set! - I found it looked very well in a bedroom.
  13. Usually my all time favourite is the Winchester, for it's the only house with a balcony and the best a house can possibly offer is a balkony with a view towards the SEA!! ... this said when you get a parcel that has a lovely garden but not much of a view then you might try out other housetypes and when I bought the faboulous addon by @Blush Bravin ... I fell in love with the Continental! Continental01 by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr The livingroom is smaller but I found it easier to decorate especially as I had the nice couch I usually put on the balcony. Continental02 by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr in the other room towards the garden I placed the Apple Fall Plantation kitchen ... and on the back porch (which I modified since after I bought it I decided that I should have bought the OPEN version) there is room enough to eat and entertain guests ... 14. You can easily change that. Just make a prim with a lawn texture and stuff its edge under existing hedges and walls - make some new hedges or walls where there aren't enough. I did that: [ Prim_Lawn by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr
  15. Rather impressive, isn't he? Might be Kona will become your new crush and take the place of your favourite Mole Quartz? (Then he won't need a bodyguard any more)
  16. How about a "Museum of Moles" ... or rather a "Gallery of Moles" ... to honour them? I relly enjoyed those photos earlier in this thread of various Moles especially as I couldn't be there at the "Meet the Moles" event. I am allways curious what they look like so it would be nice if people who met Moles (or Lindens) posted the photos here. I met a Linden - Kona Linden - about a weerk ago hoovering in front of one of the new homes: KonaLinden by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr
  17. That is JUST like I felt!! When I tried to get accustomed to Blender it was nothing but a horror- trip so I decided to give up!! Now I have new hope I might be able to use it after all!
  18. Really a wonderfull tutorial @Marianne Little - thanks a lot for it! I NEVER did ANYTHING in Blender (besides downloading and installing it), but now I can't wait to get home from my journey to my real tower- computer to try this. Might be that will be my very first homemade MESH? I DID see the beginnings of it when I visited your home last week. I saw the bathroom you were making for the Continental and went home and copied it ... just the wall and the door. I looked at your door and bought the same in the MP but I had problems making it open just the way I wanted till I found an old OpenSim Doorscript that worked just right. Now I am happy with my little bathroom, put a 1 prim floor with tiles in it but was quite content to have the walls like they are in the sleeping room. If I manage to do your tutorial there will be tiles on the walls aswell!
  19. If the question of having a Linden Home in a good location is important to you, you should invest some money in a premium alt. Then he can go hunting till he really GOT something definetily BETTER than what you have now and only then you abandon and start to go hunting and so on till one of you has found the perfect location. And by forming a group and giving the house to that group you and your alt (and friends?) can all live together in that home as a happy little family!
  20. It has been said before ... and before ... and before ... but I will spell it out again for YOU: Because if you are late on this waiting list (like you allways seem to be late when the next region of houses is given out) you have extremely bad cards! with some thousand people in front of you in the queue you might aswell comit virtual suicide! ... but like it is NOW everybody who cares to make the effort has a sporting chance again ... and again ... every other day!
  21. For the Continental I made another Kitchen in the back room. I used the Apple Fall Plantation Kitchen in Cream plus a 1Prim Fridge and made a floor with beige tiles (one Prim) - All you see is 36 Land Impact (not icluded the oillamp and the cake): Kitchen_Beige by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr Again I could save LI by eliminating the shadows haven't bothered yet to do so.
  22. For the Winchester house I am using the little front room facing the street as a kitchen and placed there the black kitchen furniture I bought at the closing sale from Pixel Mode. I linked it all except the chairs (barstooles from PixelMode) and it all has LI of 28 including lamp, fruitbowl, towel, rug, the clock and a cupboard filled with goods (second spaces - filled only 7Li) I could save LI by eliminating the shadows haven't bothered yet to do so.
