I am in the building zone now. Saw green dots and thought that might be the new owners ... but NO ... Various Avatars are sitting in Chairs on public land or flying and watching but I haven't found any homes in the new regions occupied yet. What I did see was Kona Linden (very impressing avatar!) hoovering since quite some time in front of a house in Fofita. Last inspections? Around the region is a sort of red frame to which Patch had commented on another occasasion .... NOTHING. Wonder id they will allways take the same hour of the day? When have the Santa Louisa hpuses been thrown onto the maket?

That was in the good old times when you were sure you would get another without problems. Nowadays I guess you would stay and just eject and ban her ifshe refused to leave. When I abandoned I left the parcel but usually waited outside in the road to see who would come. One of my first komes there was a man in the room. When I told him it was my house he told me he had just abandoned it and left- no problem for me.

I didn'r take notes but in the last three days I saw about 2 to 4 homes/boats every day ... pass by.... always too quickly gone for me. Today 2 houses about 6 hours ago - nothing since

Well I refreshed during the last six hours or so. I saw (and missed) three houses in that time - nearer the beginning of it - nothing since about three hours. I do not think the appearing of abandoned land has something to do with LL office hours - seems to be some automatism 24/7.

And on my netbook is running Autorefresh - no alarm yet! - I had three alarms earlier today so it's functioning .

Sorry if this is a stupid question: What is a BASH? and when will it end? PS: found it in Leo.org - it is a big festival ... so the end will be 8th of July - right? Very akward for me as I will be on a holiday then only carrying my netbook

Well I just visited the building sites in Bellisseria and there are regions that look finished, ready to be taken, and others where's still a lot to be done. Bur that is a nerverending story! If they wait till all Belliseria is finished, we won't be moving in before August as the earliest ... but why should they? In the first release they gave us about 30% of the homes that once will fill Bellisseria - in the second just the Pickle - Why not open just a few more regions? and let the others remain building sites!

Thanks for the idea - but in my case that certainly isn't so.

Just now second alarm - a HOUSE! - that's what I am looking for. I closed the alarmwindow - next - agree - next ... ERROR ..... back" then that same game four times directlly after another ... was that allways the same house? NOW they show me only Meadowbrook again.

Just now I landed myself in a Meadowbrook Home!! ... which I abandoned of course at one! The Chrome window gave the alert. In panik I tried to klick but the alert box was in the way. It was just where I had to click "next Page" - I got so muddeled klicking that without noticing it I had accepted one of the OLD homes! How can I make the addon open its alarm window somewhere else not in the right bottom corner?

I had to put a big plaster on my lawn. Otherwise there would have been a part in beige without gras on. I used the texture we have in our library - Terrain Textures - Default set / Default-Set-Grass I modified the coolur to match my lawn with colour 219 213 180 (a very light beige)

I'm afraid I ..... DERENDERED them double quick! .... not really my favourite nautical theme!

Well if I was your neighbour I would certainly derender that! MY neighbour set ot some pink unicorns and such at the deck of her houseboat ... guess what I did?

You have to rderender the prim the sounf is in. At a place where I rented for a long time the owner put up nice Christmas decorations ... amongst them some carol- singers just outside my door! - I derendered them - still sing - but I derendered their INSTRUMENTS - quiet!!

That is quite the same with me.... Alt hunting and abandoning till she fond something BETTER. I do have Autorefresh installed at my tower aswell ... and the netbook is equipped wit a bluetooth MOUSE ... no rubbing fingers! If I am seriously hunting I use the tower though because there I have a better internet connection (cable to modem instead of WiFi) I use the netbook more or less testwise to see how it works. PLUS I thought if a machine is only doing ONE thing at a time it might be quicker then if I work iun several windows simultanously.

That was just what I experienced!! I tried autorefesh in the last three days for some HOURS on a netbook next to me while I was doing other things on my tower but though today I saw four houseboatrs appear EVERY time the alarm rang and I hopped up and clicked like mad it was too late! I got an ERROR then saw the same boat again - then ERROR again two or three times over. I do not understand why they programmed the process that way. If you book a hotelroom or theater cards online they give you a certain amount of minutes to finish your order before they offer this special item to the next customer, sort of blocking it for you. I would not ask for several minutes but to block it for about 20 or 30 SECONDS before they throw it back into the pool - would that be asked too much? Perhaps @Patch Linden could tell me? Being offered something and when you say "YES!! I WANT it!!" allways getting the answer "sorry - too late!" is extremely frustrating!

That is JUST what I thought!! I went to the stage and listened to the singer and danced a bit, but the LAG is such that peoples mesheads do not rezz! I see the wearing BRAINS instead and cannot take decent photos. To wait a few days would be a wise decision. Anyway would people know how OTHERS see them, they might prefer to wear their "Minimal" - Outfit like I do! *lol* Well if you keep staring at her long enough finally the singer turns to a woman instead of a zombie!

Well now I see!! Magnificent is just a beautiful landscype, like Mesmerize. I would wish for Bellisserias Mountain regions to be modeled like that. They built the stage in such a way that it covers the CORNERS of four regions - thus deviding the people and the LAG! Welldone!

I am just at Mesmerize and do not feel much LAG. It is really a cute little park where lots of refreshments await you. On the other hand: at Magnifizent there are 30 Avatars on a little square - What may be there? - The Beatles?? - I'll try to CAM there WEll it seems to be the "Festival Stage" devided in Quarters which can hold up to 30 Avatars.

Well I sent an alt and because of the LAG I anticipated I let her wear her "Minimal"- Outfit that has very low ARC later I heard of the free Avatars and sent another alt to grab one. She preferred her own Shape and skin though but the vintage dress is nice SLB16_Outfit by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr

I never used such a system. How does it work? Do you have to put scripts into every single item? That would be a lot of nuissance.

Well and who wins? How many premium alts do YOU have?

It does sound VERY reasonable if you look at it the other way round. They are not "selling" you the Linden Homes but a whole package of advantages of which the (new) home is only ONE. By letting them out in little bunches from time to time while they are building more, they feed you little appetizers and make your mouth water for more. If you do NOT suscribe for Premium you'll NEVER get one of the new Homes - and if you do not NOW suscribe for a whole year, it will be drastically more expensive. This way they made me - who had been in SL since 2007 and (nearly) never been Premium at all - give them about 500 US$ (!!!!) just lately to make me and six alts premium for a year! ... That's what I call good marketing!
