I hear in chat for the group that people ask where the head, is all the time. They walk around in the mainstore.

I use appliers for the lipstick mostly. If I shall not have the HD/Materials look for makeup, I use tattoo layers for it. I prefer BoM for tattoos, birthmarks, scars and freckles, because they are baked in the skin and not floating over it.

Can't get it on the marketplace? MP was a bit slow for me, I just bought something. Not the head. Waited 5 minutes before it was delivered, maybe a bit longer.

I love BoM too, and we know how to layer, lol. I think some people imagine it is very difficult. I think it is 100% easier than messing with appliers and turning slots on and off. I got used to no makeup when it was these appliers.

I was working on it. If I want this to be a low cost experiment, I am hoping to see some discounted skins. It is a very hard head to make male, but maybe there is skins out there that will look good. I think newer skins made for Daniel or another Catwa male head will work better.

@Izzie Buttonshould see that picture. She has an under eye concealer, but I am not sure if it goes enough in the corner. It has to be quite big to fix this. I think I took a demo of it inworld, and it was not big enough. The skin is "dragged" out, and the concealer did only take a part of it. Unpack the CATWA BOM Skin A Makeup Alpha Pack. (In the same folder as the head) The face tattoos are skins for the head. I only show an example here, and I have my own skin on the body. I assume you must buy body skins for a seamless neck fit. The yellow arrow point where you activate BOM. Take off head alpha. Remember to never "wear" layers. Use "add". Catwa also have free things in the Mainstore, if you can get in there. Use the teleport board where you land in the mainstore and go to gifts. Edited to add: Now the free Classic meshbody does not let you use the teleporter unless you already have the group activated. The teleport also does not work if you have too high complexity. I had 53 000. I took off some nails and jewelry and could teleport. I guess the limit is 50 000. So I was stupidly clicking, I had the group activated. But it took a while before the message to take off stuff came - or I did not pay attention. 😳

Customers cling to all the appliers they have bought. As a minimum they need skin for BoM. But then they can use all makeup appliers over the BoM. I think many believe they lose everything if they go BoM. Plus people make so many outfits, like hundreds, and they will not update and change the heads and bodies in the outfit folders. Many people use heads and bodies that is not updated before BoM, and it is too much work to learn new things for them too. So I am not sure if creators sell BoM to only us who can learn how to use it, and will change to BoM. The majority of customers has finally learnt how to use mesh and appliers after 7 years, and I am sure people does not dare to start with a new system. The new skins is made to fit the bodies and skins, like toes and the face topography. So even if you buy skins, the ones that fit the head/body best is those who's made for that brand. I know many say their old skins look good, but maybe it is the heads I buy that does not take BoM so well around nostrils and eye corners. Or I am just too picky.

You have on the ctrl - alt - t, that is why transparent things turn red. Click ctrl - alt - t, to go back. This combination is used to find transparent things and other times when you need to see what is transparent. Do you have the Revoul skin that cost 65L for face and 400 for body? The 65 L pack includes skin tattoo for the head. The body pack is updated to include body tattoos for BoM. If you do, here is how an alt is using it. Notice that the Revoul body skin is not a "skin" but a tattoo. Add it over the newbie skin. The head is also a tattoo. The skin tattoos shall be under other tattoos. Like, a hairbase on top of the skin etc. The pink arrow point to where you turn on BoM in Genus.

You have literally zero, or you have 1-10 Linden on your account? That is enough to make a difference. Many freebies are really dollarbies. The term "free" is often used on both 0 and 1 L stuff. What @BraveHot is posting about free fishing is worth doing. It is no money chairs or trees anymore. A few linden dollars can really make a difference and give you twice as much or three - four - 5 times as much as 0. Some of the free stuff for newbies is bad, it is skin from Pink Fuel, animation overrides and hair from Mina that is best. I do not know how much you remember, you remember how to join a group? Some groups cost money to join. The one with most free clothes for females, is Scandalize. But it has a 100 L fee to join. Scandalize has literally a wall of free stuff. COCO is free to join and have much stuff too. I got the free meshbody Classic (1 L to pay, group is free to join) as @Rudegerus Osterham is talking about, but it can be hard to find clothes for it. You should get it, and the Lucybody as @Maitimo is recommending. A head from this store cost 5010 Linden! It is SO worth spending a few hours on getting in. Not only is this a great deal, the best one now, but it is a lot of freebies and cheap stuff made for Catwa heads. You can get other heads cheap and free, but they are often not so good, like missing animations or clumsy animations, and it is no content made for them. I used splitscreen and had Second life on the one side and used the other for SL while clicking to get in. EDIT: New locations. See post under. Now you get in without clicking for hours.

About the Unisex part: It is a setting in the HUD where you can turn the neck fit from female to male. You can wear it with male bodies. The skins included is all female, so you must do some skin shopping. I have just tried to edit it a bit towards male. The animations is female too. It can work with the right skin. I tried a male skin demo and some BoM skins and.... I was distracted and didn't do much more with it. A beard can make it more macho. When you turn on male fit, the neck is fanned out to fit with the male bodies, so it is one part under the chin where it looked a bit strange. The big "Bambi" eyes became much more masculine when they were sized down, narrowed and eye corners tweaked. Same with the lips. I am not going to throw money on it now to make a male look, it is sales every week, so I am waiting to see if something turns up.

The bolded: I have played with the thought of a false turret/tower on the other side of the entrance to Verne and Shelley. Especially Verne with its windowless wall. Only to get variety, as you say. 351 Li does not cover more furniture for me. Barnesworth Anubis has a nice conservatory made for the Verne. It is in Uber. I may buy it, but I am happy with my garden as it is now....

Maybe it is so many that AR tasteless builds that does not violate the covenant, that those who do are overlooked. A stressed Linden on speedreading. Have you sent in an AR? I don't know how many homes it is in Bellisseria now. 10 000? Support must have a lot to do.

I could write a long reply, but often the fastest way is to unpack a new body. You still have the pack in your inventory under "Objects" unless you deleted it. Or get a redelivery in Maitreya store. Take off everything from the old pack and delete it. Wear the new body and HUD and use the same appliers on it, so you look just the same.

I consider to go back to the ordinary Slink instead of Slink Redux. And then walk around with 3 onion layers the whole time, when I could have used just one instead. But Redux took it too far, taking away all the layers. 😢

On the side, their free meshbody they call "Classic" is really awesome. It can use nails, rings and shoes for Legacy. I have not tested her with boots yet. But that is pretty good for free stuff. Plus the body takes Bom. Some clothes fit badly in particulary the back if you try Legacy clothes. It is still some TMP clothes to get and they fit better. This brand is really confusing, prices high and gives stuff for free the same time.
