  1. I asked my friend Bebe to stop by my sim for a chat. I have a wonderful parcel on a winter sim on Sansara. We seemed to really warm to each other over the course of a couple of hours chatting. I really like her, but (there is always a but) her fiends do not like me at all. And we discussed this. She seemed to have some issue of betraying her friends because of the pressure she felt from them to terminate her friendship with me. In the beginning we talked past this issue, but as the evening went on and it got kind of late she wanted to head home. I really wanted her to stay - and I felt she, too, didn't really want to leave. Our conversation went something like this: For context, I merged our IM’s - she is chatting first and my reply follows. I really can't stay - Bebe it's cold outside I've got to go away - Bebe it's cold outside This evening has been - Been hoping that you'd drop in So very nice - I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice My friends will start to worry - Beautiful, what's your hurry My roommate will be pacing the floor - Listen to the fireplace roar So really I'd better scurry - Beautiful, please don't hurry Well Maybe just a half a drink more - Put some records on while I pour The neighbors might think - Bebe, it's bad out there Say, what's in this drink - No sleds to be had out there I wish I knew how - Your eyes are like starlight now To break this spell - I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell I ought to say no, no, no, sir - Mind if I move a little closer At least I'm gonna say that I tried - What's the sense in hurting my pride I really can't stay - Bebe don't hold out Ahh, but it's cold outside| C'mon bebe I simply must go - Bebe, it's cold outside The answer is no - Ooh bebe, it's cold outside This welcome has been - I'm lucky that you dropped in So nice and warm -- Look out the window at that storm Paddy will be suspicious - Man, your lips look so delicious Lilith will be there at the door - Waves upon a tropical shore My friends minds are vicious - Gosh your lips look delicious Well maybe just a cigarette more - Never such a blizzard before I've got to get home - Oh, bebe, you'll freeze out there Say, lend me your coat - It's up to your knees out there You've really been grand - Your eyes are like starlight now But don't you see - How can you do this thing to me There's bound to be talk tomorrow - Making my life long sorrow At least there will be plenty implied - If you caught pneumonia and died I really can't stay - Get over that old out Ahh, but it's cold outside Bebe it's cold outsid Brr it's cold... It's cold out there Can't you stay awhile longer Bebe Well... I really shouldn't... alright Make it worth your while Bebe Ahh, do that again.. So she stayed, and we had a wonderful evening on this beautiful winter sim on Sansara. Fade to today: her friends are trying to ban me from Sansara. What’s your opinion?
  2. I am defining my world, my friendship list, based on your tl;dr (but I did) OP. Insofar as success with women - yes! I have been with my 'woman' for 28 years. Uninterrupted years. Monogamous years! So thank you for noticing.
  3. I am establishing the superiority of the alpha male when it comes to friends - as your OP asked in discussion. What I wrote is a fact, and there are no alpha males who find this distasteful. Alpha's survive on friendships and leadership. My friends are my friends and there are other alpha's in our circle - we don't contend for superiority - we enjoy our friendships. If I, as you so kindly wrote, am doing a pretty good job of destroying men then there you have it - there is no fixing your way of thinking. And there is no fixing my thinking based on what you wrote. I speak of the alpha male in terms of friendships (your OP) and leadership and loyalty and you equate it to toxic masculinity; the mass murderer. I am whatever you think I am - my friends (male and female) know who I am.
  4. Yes Scylla, it is cool to see you about, as well. You wrote: “…to see you falling back on such apparently absurdly crude stereotypes” My response was to answer your OP: "The alpha male has many friends: male and female, strong and weak, green and blue - and he is loyal to each. In today’s climate the alpha male faces different challenges, but he is a leader and he is successful in what he is and does. He will always stay true to his friends (male and female) and they know this of him" I don’t think there are any alpha males who would disagree with what I wrote. I even suggested that we face challenges in todays world . . . and you throw another flawed, modern construct in your post, that of “toxic masculinity”. There is nothing in my post that suggests violence, misogyny, or anything negative however you want to paint the alpha male with that one stroke - go figure. I deplore violence! PS Most mass killings, as occurred in Toronto, are perpetrated by men. Alpha or not. I tend to think that they are not - they seem to be loners, no girlfriends, no social leadership, etc. But please correct me if I’m wrong,
  5. Hello Scylla. The construct you present is flawed at its most basic level. In SL, as in real life there are two types of males (regardless of what facebook box you check): the alpha male, and everyone else. The alpha male. Other men want to hang with them and women want to go out with them (regardless of what SL box you check). The alpha male has many friends: male and female, strong and weak, green and blue - and he is loyal to each. In today’s climate the alpha male faces different challenges, but he is a leader and he is successful in what he is and does. He will always stay true to his friends (male and female) and they know this of him. To this end, I can read from your OP that you just don’t get this - and you probably never will. It's OK as you are not a male, however I can only request that you cease trying to effeminize the male ‘figure’.
  6. I enjoy being a menace to sobriety . . . so please pass that fifth this way.
  7. Global warming has postponed Octoberfest until Novemberfest. . . say it ain't so!
  8. From what I heard avatars are whacking their left hand so now their right hands are left.
  9. That's my point Go. We are helping Texas and getting ready to help Americans in Florida. Americans in Puerto Rico need our help now! We have hospitals in PR that needed us yesterday. Where are we?
  10. This couldn't have come at a worse time for Puerto Rico. No electricity for 4-6 months in some parts? This is America! We should have two or three aircraft carriers chock-full of water and food and temporary housing sitting off the coast. How much money did we give to Haiti for relief - still giving! We are the richest nation in the world and we are not prepared to do everything possible for our fellow Americans. ACT NOW! Americans are in need. We subsidized Elon to make his battery cars and solar city - maybe he needs to get some of that solar power to the entire PR Island (and The Virgin Islands too) in 2 weeks - not 4-6 months. . . Pay back (my tax dollar) subsidy by helping ALL fellow Americans.
  11. Only a partial eclipse here . . .
  12. I think it may be working. How can one not enjoy the drama ho's?
  13. I had a lot of fun 'chasing' you on the forum. You always took it in great stride and with a fantastic sense of humor. Thank you for the wonderful memory.
  14. Sassy Romano wrote: Yep, no wonder I was out of that conversation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_bag_%28sexual_act%29 Ah, much different, but kinda the same thing in the context of what I was writing, eh?
  15. Sassy Romano wrote: Just one question. Is my definition of a tea bagger different to yours? I think it is...in a somewhat major way! I don't know your definition, but tea baggers are Tea Party supporters - they certainly are not to be confused with Libertarians, although many do confuse the two.
  16. What's up with you? I am not incapable of responding to anything especially a blog post or white paper on the facts of life according to the libertarian party. Must I dispute your link just because it was written by a fellow libertarian and you take it as the word of God? That in itself disputes the link for me. I'm not a libertarian because I don't heed EVERY word of a political affiliation think tank? Who does? I'm sure the Libertarians among us don't believe or heed everything that spew for the mouth of a political agenda group -- gawd only the Democrats, Tea-baggers, and Rastas live life that way. I don't. PS Your eyes better not roll too far away your going to need them to see.
  17. Lol at clueless, and insofar as me being bombastic it is you that is preaching the word of God libertarianism as if it were gospel, not I. Go figure.

Suppose he wrote "refusing service to jurors and all Irish people"? Do you think his business would survive the fallout? That's just it! If the business doesn't survive due to discriminatory practices, than so be it. But, the right to chose who one sells to, regardless of reason, is a basic right. Just as the right to chose where you spend your money! If you can't be forced to buy from me, why should I be forced to sell to you? Here you go, in case you didn't read the link before: http://mises.org/daily/6690/If-I-Must-Sell-You-Must-Buy I read the link. "Libertarian" is a political affiliation not a religious sect. I don't live and breathe and hang on every single word that is published by the Cato Institute. I don't kneel and pray to the Libertarian logo every evening. Like I wrote above, refuse to accept me at a place of business for no reason other than you not liking my skin color or the company I'm with will have negative ramifications for that business. Yes, in the name of individual liberty, free markets, and peace. So, basically, you're not a libertarian. Got it. ; ) It's more that I've learned to think for myself -- to not have government do my thinking, but be there to protect my individual freedoms according to constitutional law. ETA I see no difference between how you 'preach' about Libertarianism than how PussyCat 'preaches' Rasta. The line blurs when it comes to fanaticism.
  19. My bologna has a first name it's O S C A R .... I didn't see my graphics card listed. But that's ok because I don't need one to have fun in SL.
