In Windows 11, I use Balanced based settings, set slightly higher for better performance. FS and all other LL viewers installed are automatically set to use my laptop's GTX 1050 by default. I run GPU settings in hybrid/Optimus mode. I manually have to turn off the 1050 within Control Panel if I want to mess with the Intel UHD 630 iGPU by itself. (In Linux, I have to reboot to get this setting. No reboot required in Win11 but I log out and back into my account to ensure Nvidia Control Panel is also switched off from quick start.)

That head composition is quite realistic if you ask me, I love it.

Eh, if it's too bright, I switch to Midnight lighting for a while and turn down my monitor's brightness. Because of this craziness, I usually leave my glow settings at 1. On the opposite end, if it's too dark I'll use Midday (or Midday Legacy in a PBR viewer and turn up Exposure to at least 1.5).

The only time I really worry about 5.3 is when I play around my favorite suit. I'm OK at editing some of the sharp gaps in the shoulder/arm areas that come up, usually when the arms are bent high in my back and I take a few photos. If I switch to LaraX for the really fun parts, little to no body editing is required on my end. (Skin blotches, maybe, depends...)

As far as online, I was in Open Sim. Danced with a Dinkie and a few other people as I didn't have a date. This NYE party was held at Essensual McMahon's Trianon Ballroom, designed by Luna Lunaria.

Yep... looks like a FS problem. It happened to me a few minutes ago in Open Sim. Just sent a bug report via bugtracker, in Windows 11. Regular release 6.6.17 (with OS support), not the PBR viewer.

Shape-shifting

Works for me, as long as I have a pure install of wine in my /home directory. No winetricks, dxvk or MS DLLs added. I use the development branch. Still crashes occasionally, but it works better overall. It's the same for the other Windows viewer I use most with Wine, Black Dragon. For me, that one is more stable in Wine vs the LL viewer, I can run an hour or so with that before it crashes (if it does at all, it runs with fewer errors shown in the terminal).

I've already sent the male alt I'm helping out to Gabriel... He's cool with it, still wants some vintage threads. He sports the free Legacy body. My main male alt that I've posted photos of has the Kauna clothes. I should check his inventory and see if I can share them to the alt I'm working on now.

I dare you not to cry a bit after this terrific Iron Maiden cover... you definitely don't need to be a hard rock\metal fan to absorb this... it's a terrific song to begin with IMHO.

OK... haha... looks like I could use those clothes too hehe... I have PetiteX along with LaraX. Hopefully there's Legacy stuff, as he uses the free TMP body. Thanks
