Yup, almost same here, mines a frankenstein build, secondhand dell pc, ( checkout prices on a refurbished 10 year old dell pc ), pcie adaptor so i can run a nvme drive, win 10, and a nvidia rtx 2070 and power supply out of my 8th gen pc that died. good enough for what i do on SL.

I know that child avies and verification are big issues, but I want to add a personal YAY to the mirrors section of the video. I will quite possibly be trying that out, afaik, it is an advanced version of a reflection probe on a flat surface. Want! Want! .. Oh and Firestorm viewer 7 is another one I am hanging out for.. BIG HINT ... Can some one make a secondlife university video about how to make mirrors work in your own SL space, please please please !!!!

Hmm, 2 people in a house with the connection on SL, so one must be an alt lol. IF you are using a vpn, you will need a fast one that carries unlimited data, not one of those free ones that says you are from netherlands or japan. There are a few ways you can guess someone is an alt tho, as explained in other coments.

My SL roomate has had the "not showing groups in the profile" thing once or twice, but I cannot recall it happening to my avi before.

LL would have to rethink stipend as well if they changed the exchange rate of L to USD. I mean if you work it out, at current rates, LL would be paying everyone about 2 or 3 times what it costs to be a paid member, but personally, that could be a good idea! 😁

If your avatar is flying on a sim (not in a plane, but just the avi,) and you teleport to a no-fly sim, you can still fly around until you land.

Even I don't know what "sidekick" is, and yes, newgrounds was great until they killed off adobe flash.

Once again, something happened and I missed it, but I find child avatars on adult sims to be creepy, and NOT something I want to be part of, even if they are not doing anything suggestive.

I actually made my own texture in a photoshopping program, then uploaded it. here is a pic of it in SL as I can't find the texture in my RL collection. The SL jeep I wanted to attach it to was no-mod unfortunately.
