  1. I don't know if anyone will know until it happens. I would suggest watching (or following) this thread:
  2. Princess, I think you need to slow down a little and double check what you're writing before hitting "submit". This position sounds important - owner (or co-owner?) of a new club on a new region and you ask for serious offers only. Yet your writing style and spelling don't seem to reflect that importance and seriousness. You are also asking for some knowledge in "ruining" a club which I could probably do without prior knowledge, but I'm sure that's not what you meant to write. When you are looking for a serious business partner, language and the ability to write well do matter. You mentioned you already own the sim. Some information about your vision for the club would be helpful, along with information about whether it has been built yet, or if you're waiting for a partner to provide input and direction, and so forth. Someone may be interested in managing an adult only entertainment club, but not managing a blues club, for example. I do wish you well in your endeavor, and hope that you are able to find a good partner to help you bring your ideas to fruition.
  3. I suppose if it bothers you too much, you'll need to just choose a house style where it lines up properly When I had a house where it didn't I just widened it on both sides going up to the porch on my side of the property line, and I thought that looked OK.
  4. Yes, and as it was, it's been 8 - 9 months since we first discovered the SSP regions on the grid (take a look at the creation date of the SSP thread here in the forums), which are their planning and build regions for the new ones. So even for the first batch to actually be released was an 8 month wait. While some of that was probably start up time, and getting up to speed time, can you imagine how long 10 times as many houses as the first release might take? Especially since they are not doing "cookie cutter" copies of regions, but are making them more individual. Even if they had signups and polls, a lot of the premium account information and house preference is bound to change over a year or two's time. I think releasing in phases is probably the only manageable way.
  5. Water Horse also has several varieties of horse avatars.
  6. I'm a little confused... are you trying to create as in make your own horse avatar from scratch (and import it into SL to wear and/or sale), or are you trying to put together a horse avatar for yourself from parts you're picking up on the marketplace or inworld stores? I guess it was the "have a full body mod" part which was confusing me... If it's the make your own mesh or animesh body/animations, etc., that you're looking for help with, you might get better answers over in the "Creation" part of the forums.
  7. As your first image shows, the my.secondlife.com site is down for maintenance - this also affects the display of web profiles in the LL viewer. You can check the incident report for updates at https://status.secondlifegrid.net/incidents/lz68v3254g6l
  8. You can go to https://status.secondlifegrid.net/incidents/lz68v3254g6l and subscribe to that incident. Then, when they update or resolve the incident, you'll be notified. Apparently they are still working on it, and people posting that it still doesn't work is neither necessary nor helpful.
  9. While I have no issues with the covenant or with the theme, I hope that residents will not be over-zealous. There is a strong sense of community among many, and that is good - I just hope it leaves a little room for those who remain in covenant and theme, but may not fully conform with the community ethos. When there starts to be complaints about whether someone has furnished their home or not, or if someone is only living in their skybox, or if there should be some other separate area for those who prefer <whatever> it seems less like an open community and more like an insulated us-against-them type mentality. I've pulled up stakes for the time being, and am going to wait to see what other themes may become available in the future, and to watch and see how the community aspect develops and maintains over time.
  10. How does my avatar look today? Like I used to, pre-mesh head and mesh body. At Fantasy Faire, working on the Quest.

  12. If you check the grid status link in the post above yours, the issue has not been noted as resolved yet - so apparently they are still working on it.
  13. I re-did some little sections of the landscaping on my main home parcel a few weeks ago. It usually takes me several tries before I end up with something I like and am content to stop messing with it every day.
  14. From the Grid Status page https://status.secondlifegrid.net/ this morning: Investigating - My.secondlife.com is currently unavailable. While we work to bring this service back online, both my.secondlife.com and in-world profiles will be inaccessible. We will update this blog when this web service has been restored. Apr 29, 04:23 PDT
  15. There's been an issue the last several days, apparently, with the secondlife web profiles not loading in the web browser. From https://status.secondlifegrid.net/ this morning: Investigating - My.secondlife.com is currently unavailable. While we work to bring this service back online, both my.secondlife.com and in-world profiles will be inaccessible. We will update this blog when this web service has been restored. Apr 29, 04:23 PDT
  16. If what you mean by "global" is mainland, just because a policy is good for the linden home continent doesn't necessarily mean it's the right decision for mainland in general.
  17. There was a Linden Home Preview region at the Home and Garden show earlier before the new region opened, and the preview region was still available during the LL Spring Egg Hunt - one of the stops on the hunt was by the houseboats preview area. And, it's still there: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Linden Homes Preview/44/200/24
  18. You can take a look at It will give you the basic requirements and info about resident created land auctions.
  19. I stopped counting regions with homes or houseboats on them at 85 regions, and that was just the first 6 columns of the region from the east, so probably not even half. Abnor had mentioned in some post something about 300+ region layouts (the exact number he mentioned escapes my mind at the moment). Whether that was referring to ones with residences on them or not yet, wasn't clear. There doesn't seem to be the same number of parcels on each region either, so that makes guessing the number of residential parcels even harder! I would say that 3000 is probably on the low end and that 4500 or 5000 might be closer.
