Interesting. Have you tried using Tomtom instead? I think that's a much better GPS brand! Maybe you're a missing a setting to maximize? I'd double check! I guess give your computer some energy-boosting supplements to speed it up?

I think you need to download more RAM to play it? I'm playing it on my Pentium before I did that and like I can't hit any enemies! After I did, I'm like dude, I'm Lv. 9000 now!

Perhaps. I've spent at least $40 per month in SL (just for my premium land usage.) But maybe that's a drop in the bucket compared to other forms of entertainment.

I have a feeling I'll be blasted for asking this question, but bear with me. Just like how there's upscale or luxury restaurants and shops in real life (e.g. Louis Vuitton or whatever) do you think Second Life is "upscale" compared to other forms of entertainment? I think it can be, especially if you purchase Linden currency and buy Premium and stuff off the marketplace - you end up spending quite a bit. And it's all in the name of making your avatars and land look fashionable.

Just wondering. All I can personally think of is swimming around as an aquatic animal avatar.

Well, I admit I can be a bit of a troll and add to the toxic environment. I've done my fair share of trolling in Second Life in the past. Mostly though, I only troll certain types of people (mostly people I have some sort of grudge against or who are annoying in some way.) But judging by your original post, you don't seem like the type of person I would target. At least, I don't think so and I hope I wasn't the perpetrator in your situation. If I was, please forgive me. I also hope your issue gets resolved quickly and that you will find Second Life to be a better place to hang out. I wish I could apologize for my trollness in general in Second Life but I'm probably past the point of forgiveness....

My question this time is a bit silly, but simple: how do you feel about references to real world brands in Second Life? I think it's amusing to see real world brands such as McDonald's and Coca Cola in Second Life. I know there's no copyright issues involved with stuff like food and drink brands as long as you're portraying them positively - and if so, it's free advertising for them. I have even partaken in putting some stuff like a Coca Cola machine and a KFC restaurant in my own parcel. I can see how this can be tacky to some people though.
