I’ve been on SL for ten years and BoM is confusing to me. It’s confusing! I’ll take a crack at it, someone will correct me if I’m wrong. A head like Genus is still using onion layers. They haven’t come out with a single mesh BoM head yet. So each layer is still there and should still have a material slot. So in the case of genus you should still have materials for the lipstick, eyebrow and tattoo layers. The skin bump should still be there as well.

Yeah, it sounds more like a booty shake animation. I really don’t want to make recommendations if I’m not sure what’s being described.

Is it a twerk if you’re idle from the waist down? Kind of goes against the idea of....twerking. I would need to see the animation.

Also try /99stop...it’s a long shot, but worth a try.

Should there be a "SL's Manliest Man" contest?

Make Memberships more attractive to creators.

I think I threw a similar idea out there during another discussion a few months back. The more I think about it though, there really isn’t a need for incentives for creators. In many cases, you can make a great deal of Ls with not much more than time and effort. To piggyback off the “sandbox” era of SL. I think it would be a very good thing to go back to that. I often say SL needs a Torley to do videos on how to use SL, because there’s just so much to know as far as SL is concerned. It also needs a blender guru (not specifically him) as far as creating is concerned. What I find is a lot of people would love to create things, clothes, hair, skins, furniture, you name it, but they don’t know how to start. Asking around only gets them frustrated and searching for random videos can instill some pretty bad habits. LL should hire someone to do that, show how easy and fun creating in SL can be. I think you’ll see a nice uptick in creativity with a nudge in that direction. -
I’m not sure I agree with that. There’s no need for fake civility and it’s pretty clear when it’s happening, even on the internet. How about actually being civil? You can disagree with someone and still be respectful. You don’t have to like what someone said and still hear them. That is what is being lost in communication the “I hear you, but...”
-
See the problem here is this forum has a veneer of civility, but there’s a whole lot of passive-aggressive stuff going on, which to me is super obvious. Thats why, you have people using reactions wrong. If you disagree with someone disagree. Although, some people get overly dramatic when you disagree and some people just aren’t worth disagreeing with in a discussion because you’ll be going back and forth for a long time.

But, I’m happy being non mesh and I look just as good as everybody else! See, here’s a picture that I took today! (Gimme my damned like reactions nao!)

I would do a laugh reaction, but it might be interpreted as a scorn laugh, when it really was a laugh laugh.
