    No, it didn’t. That was my point. Somebody making a snide comment about her hair, being a little dark, or where she’s from isn’t new to her. This is something a woman of color deals with all of our lives. I’m sure she knew she was going to get dragged going in. Again actress and American, not knowing the right things to do or say in X situation. That was what did it.

    This is probably the main issue. Which is why I said she wants to get back to her career. Agree 100%, but you don’t think something like racism is new or a shock to her do you? That’s not going to change because she’s the Duchess of Sussex.

    Ummmm...they actually do. Is this about Meghan Markle or is this personal? The difference between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton is: Kate Middleton comes from a pretty well to do background and she’s English. While Meghan Markle is an actress and American (gasp). It’s shades of Edward VIII and Wallace Simpson...a little. Of course they’re going to compare them. You can’t site a single anything but a rag that compares them in the way you’re comparing them. This is not the hill to die on.

    I’ve never seen anyone make a big deal out of Meghan being biracial. They did start lightening her up in magazines though. It was pretty obvious when she was in Suits. Harry’s always been kind of the “Wild Child” and she probably wants to get back into acting. More power to them!

    I suddenly have to do something in real life, then I just kinda stop responding. Sometimes I just stop responding to them, it really depends on the person and how much I like them to consider their feelings. If I really don’t like what someone is saying I’ll tell them to leave me the eff alone.

    That looks awesome! Does the head have specularity or is it just the makeup?

    The slink dev kit was a problem back in the day because they had someone really terrible deciding who got them. A bad CSR can really make your whole brand look bad and some CSRs get big heads when they are given power like that. edit: now that I think about it, the run in with the csr made me switch to Maitreya. I applied for one a few months ago, two day turnaround.

    Me too! That’s why I’m curious about it. I like to just start creating an avatar when nothing’s going on. I’m pretty comfortable with BoM. I’ve just been waiting for some skins from skin makers I like. It sounds like it’s a well made head! I’ve always liked Lelutka’s animations. I can’t wait to play with the demos when I get home! Very well done shots, you made the head look good!

    It has a massive triangle count because it has three torsos with three different clevages. No other body has that feature, pretty sure that has something to do with the triangle count, no? I wonder why people always ignore that little fact when they start talking triangle counts.

    Well, I think there’s been a weird paradigm shift where what is considered “liberal” would’ve been considered conservative-centrist 20-30 years ago. The right....well I don’t even want to say where that shifted. Meanwhile, most people are naturally centrist leaning, with strongly progressive views. So that leaves many to choose a side that neither really fits. Today someone like Jimmy Carter would be considered a socialist. Think about that.

    Perfect! Thank you for answering my question. True BoM, but not optimized BoM, I like that. Now for my next question (it’s more of a creator question): As a creator, wouldn’t converting an existing mesh be a matter of just taking the base mesh, possibly adjusting the UV, possibly rerigging and uploading the new mesh? Or am I oversimplifying the process?

    A lot of creators are pushing out relays instead of an actual BoM product. My question is, when you use a relay with the product you had prior to BoM, is it truly BoM? Example: My favorite head put out a relay yesterday. The relay allows me to use system skins, tattoos, makeup etc. What happens to the onion layers my head had? Are they still there if I use a relay?

    I did until this thing called the double down happened. I ate it and immediately felt guilty, ashamed and like a fatty all at once. A tiny sliver of my soul died that day. I seriously cut back on fast food in general after that. That being said, I loooove the Nashville Hot Chicken.
