It’s funny this came up, because me and some ladies at work were just talking about how overweight people that lose too much weight tend to appear to have bigger heads and look unnatural. Being stick thin doesn't suit everybody. And….thats ok.
-
I just want to point out that people carry weight differently. A 178 lbs can look different on different women. Before we go down this rabbit hole, here’s a link. https://myprogresspics.com/ you can be any weight and have a big butt or no butt Thank you for coming to my Tedtalk.

The morph head is actually pretty good. I could see myself playing around with it in the near future.

New Shopping HUD - thumbs up or down?
Janet Voxel replied to Chic Aeon's topic in General Discussion Forum
I know I’m in the minority regarding shopping huds. I like them or at least the idea of them. I just don’t think they’re used properly. I think they should be used to supplement events, not replace them. In other words, say I want to go to top tier event and I can’t get in because the sim is full like for the first couple days. It would be nice to be able to get a hud and shop anyway and not have to use a tp hammer or go to a cam sim and realize I’ve been pushed off the edge while camming. its a nice option if I just have to have those chartreuse leggings with the scrunch back today! I’m just sayin. But, it doesn’t work that way. It’s usually a second tier event that’s doing the hud, so I really could just go to the event, because it’ wouldn’t have been that crowded or laggy anyway. Im ok with shopping online in real life, so why wouldn’t I be ok with it in Second life? The only thing is using shopping HUDs in second life is more like shopping on Wish or Temu. -
I think disabling IMs is a little extreme. I have incoming friend requests disabled though. The rationale behind this is that I get far more random, unwanted friend requests than unwanted IMs. I’m willing to have a conversation with anybody. The friend requests I get tend to be me minding my own business and BAM friend request nothing else. I can always send a friend request to someone if we had a nice conversation.

I missed the sale….. oh well

Often body creators use bloggers to take those pictures. That being said that looks like the body with waifus and the small butt deformer that comes with the body. The pic also looks a little zhushed up in photoshop. But that look is definitely doable.

I demoed it with my daughter the other day. She loved it and since it was on sale, she got it. I was a little more meh and wait and see about it. The nipples seemed a little too high up to me and the thigh gap bothered me. I feel like you’re locked into a certain size and look. If you deviate from that and throw on a deformer or two, you have reborn with waifu. speaking of an untapped niche: didn’t khara do this? Or was the butt too big? I thought that was a nicer body and a little more versatile. It had pretty decent support until Lara X came out. I’m just curious, what was wrong with that one?

It may have to do with essentially having two inventories: inventory and wearing. You can take things off in your wearing, but at the same time you can take things off and put things on from inventory. I know when I’m helping the newbies of newbies, they struggle with that. It’s like you almost got it, now take off your shoes! *five minutes pass* They’re like….I can’t find them! Its because they’re looking through their inventory instead of removing it from wear.

I’m using Alchemy. I remember about a month or two ago, I was having the stuttering problem. I felt like I was crazy because I was describing it in their discord and nobody else was getting it. A couple of patches later(and reading the patch notes) it was gone. Apparently, it was something with an NVIDIA update that caused it.

I might sound a little mean, but I’m filled with rage when someone IMs me immediately when I log on. I don’t know if it’s because I’m spammed with….everything when I first log on or if my avatar hasn’t fully rezzed yet. I would at least respond to you, but man that first minute is like information overload!

why having or beeing an alt is consider bad?
Janet Voxel replied to Gabriel Isodo's topic in General Discussion Forum
I’m an alt, I have a few stores that I use different alts to sell different things. One I have for decor items, a couple are for different clothing styles. This one is for when I don’t want to be bothered by any of that and want to hang out and socialize. Like with most things in second life, the use of Alts can be totally harmless or the person using them can be up to no good. However, you definitely shouldn’t go around flinging accusations that someone is an alt, because if you’re wrong you might appear to be a little unhinged.- 149 replies
