In addition to the alreadz posted speculations, its not unheard off for merchants to have a marketplace only or inworld only bargain deal like this. Have come across this plenty of times where merchants posted on their MP listing "Get 10% on in world purchases" and just came across one store in world today that had a deal on something that was 50% off if purchased on the marketplace. It's a good way to lure more people into shopping in world as opposed to the MP but can work the other way around as well. Either way it's a really nice looking head and I am tempted to get it. 99L is peanuts considering a full fledged bento head goes for 5000L. (from the big two anyway.)

Have you tried playing with the blend option in Catwa's Hud? You can set the transparency of a lipstick there so it blends with the natural lips underneath. Not all lipsticks are meant to be used with the blend option all the way at the bottom :3

That is, too true! Thank you everyone for the help I really appreciate it! So glad I didn't fudge up, nothing broke and the world didn't erupt into flames for trying out something new! There was only a minor freak out and I may find a first grey hair come morning but other than that it went pretty good!

I actually had to boot up blender to make this freezing pose, surprisingly enough there wasn't a good one like this on the MP Now that I am officially back on SL I need to re-open my little animation store since I'll be making new ones soon so might as well make an alt and plop down a little pose store and have it as a joint venture. Yes it did give me the option and I went with it. What confused the everloving heck out of me was the fact that the land is 2048sqm, I deeded the land to the group and I chose the 'owner makes contribution' yet instead of it automatically donating 2048sqm to the group it only deeded 1862sqm to it which seems like a random number and doesn't make sense at all! Once I raised it to the full 2048sqm everything now makes sense again and is as it should be and I'm getting the full 10% bonus. If it had done that from the start (using 2048 instead of 1862) I wouldn't have been so confused

It's a good base but you're right it does seem to lack a bit of personality. If you're headed for Half Deer let me know, I haven't been there for forever and it's one of my favorite stores, I'd be happy to tag along n.n

I donated the full 2048sqm to the group and I want to purchase a parcel of approx 3300sqm on the same sim. With the group bonus that would keep me within the 4096sqm tier. And yes my group actually owns the land, isn't that how it's done? I mean, I figured as much as guides say that the next parcel I am about to buy should be bought using the "Purchase for group" option? Or did I go a step too far there?

Is that still happening nowadays? I'm a little freaked about that

The land was deeded to the group after a friend joined it so we were two people in the group at the time of deeding.

I just deeded my land to my group in preparation to purchase more land. However, I am a bit confused. Shouldn't the bonus be 10%? My parcel is 2048sqm (as is my tier level), so the 10% bonus should be 205 sqm no? As such I should have 2252sqm available without it bumping me up a tier level. Yet, this screenshot indicates I only have 2234sqm available. Also while I am here, where in my account on the SL site do I now see my land or any info pertaining on how much contribution I made, how much is available and so on since it no longer shows up under the "My mainland" button. Thank you n.n it's my preferred look for when I feel like being myself. I like your thought of your avatar having vastly different persona's, I've never looked at it this way even though I take it to the extreme. One day I'm a female, one day I'm a male (unfortunately need to give him a thorough mesh make-over.), another day I'm an old grandma (I have this super adorable avatar for it!) and the next? A derpy dragon. And the list goes on ad nauseum. At this point Syn is pretty much Mystique from the X-Men. I don't want to bother with Alts so Mystique she/he/it is! And now to your femboy, gosh that sideview of the body makes me feel like swooning, it looks so elegant and dare I say downright lickable. The partial profile view of the face is pretty dang good already but I do agree when it comes to the frontal view, something about the jaw just doesn't seem right. Rest of it however is impressive and I can't wait to see him once you're done! Also, I've just prowled through your flickr and holy mother of god you have talent and I am super jealous of how amazing you can make male avatars look. If I was half as good I'd never change to female again because I'd be too busy watching that eyecandy on my screen all day instead

Do you have the .dae file of the avatar? Loading the avatar into the animation program would be pretty essential than to simply use the normal human doll to animate, that's pretty much flying blind. While it's very doable it won't be perfect without a looot of trial and error.

Or perhaps we're looking at this the wrong way and it's not a Premium Level deal, aka the highest level would have all what is offered in the lower ones. Maybe it's all on the same level but different packages? Like it was mentioned maybe a Concierge premium, a merchant/builders premium, A socialite premium, a home owners premium and one could perhaps mix and match the different packages. Has there been any specific info on this?

ETA: This was written with a higher or the highest new premium tier in mind! Looking at the current benefits I'll make a little list. I think they'll increase: * Weekly Stipend * Signup Bonus * Size of a Linden Home/Linden Home Plot from 512 to 1024 * Increased free tier land sizes Other things: * Highest priority entry on full sims * 24 hour support instead of USA business hours * More Premium gifts or premium gifts exlusive to a certain premium tier * New Premium Areas locked behind different premium tiers, pay the highest to visit them all * Further increase on capped IM's * Further increase on group slots * More Transaction History Tools * Lower comissions for MP sales (they did mention they might raise those) That's all I can think of for now, let me see if anything else pops up in my mind later on!

Wonderful look! I finished the hunt today and was busy unpacking the many goodies and boy was I pleasantly surprised by a lot of them! So much furniture and decorations, too! I am *this* close to either purchase/rent another parcel to set up my own little steampunk hide out or completely change my snow lot. Hmm, or I could compromise, lovely snow lot on the outside, steampunk heaven on the inside. It'd be like stepping from one world into another! (I just can't bring myself to plop down an actual steampunk build on my lot when my neighbours are so in the snow theme with me x3333 (and the view is just too nice to build up in the air!)

You are reading far too much into this honestly. Syo is german and as a fellow german I can't help but post and say a) we use watermelons to define size a lot, especially breast size. It is meant as a literal comparison to watermelons and has zero to do with people of color. It's the same as the sayings 'pea sized brain', 'eyes wide as saucers' etc. We use these comparisons in every day life and believe me, us germans have other 'race baiting themes' than you do. Watermelons are not at all linked to people of color for us. Secondly, we do not sugarcoat, we're very direct folks and we love using extremes. Again, this has nothing at all to do with racism but is simply a part of our culture. I try my best to tone down my directness but I honestly lost count of the times people missunderstood something I said and thought I was being rude. It is kind of a language barrier, no matter how good our spelling and grammar might be, we simply can't imitate that political correctness because we don't live it every day. To me it seems you are going out of your way to see something that simply isn't there.

Hello there! Let me try answering your questions from both a merchants and customer's point of view. 1. I highly recommend putting your store name as the first thing of your item name i.e. [StoreName] Fantasy Kit You can have your store name in brackets or -, /, ! in front or are around it or whatever else you think is good. Key is to keep it consistent. If someone purchases several productsof yours it will place the folders in their inventory one below the other. It makes things much easier to find and tells the customer right away which store their inventory folder is from. 2. Unpackers: I always just use a simple box that you open the old fashioned way since I am not making clothes. I am not sure what people actually prefer, but whatever you use pleasekeep the box low Li! I've had it before that I was un boxing things just to rez a 30 Li of an elaborate box that was at the time more Li than my entire house! Keep it 1 Li or 2 Li you neverknow how much space your custo mer has left on their land. 3. Always put your vendor picture in the box! And always make it full perm, why? If someone loves your work and wants to let friends know a picture says more than a thousand words. They can simply drop your vendor pic into an IM and that's free advertising for you! A lot of merchants don't realize this and keep the pics perms as no transfer. 4. I highly recommend CasperTech, not only has it a lot of incredibly nice functions, the support both by group members but also the staff is top notch. It also has addons you can purchase if you don't go for the premium pack that already has them: Holorezzer, Giftcards, Lucky Chairs etc. Some general pointers I like giving new merchants who ask: - Keep things consistent! Item Names, Brand, Vendor Images - it makes everything easier to navigate and looks a lot more polished than if your Vendor images are all over the place stylewise. - Demos; whether it's a demo copy of an item, a rezzed item a your store, an item in a holo rezzer, people want to see before they buy! This goes for all sorts of different product categories. People are less likely to buy the cat in the sack. - Advertise/Marketing, know your customer base and advertize in appropiate groups, use social media & blogs to your advantage. You need to be very pro-active, it's just like in RL. People may stumble over a little hole in the wall shop but you won't bring in the masses simply because they don't know you're there! Joining RFL fundraisers, hunts, sales events, expo's have worked very well for me in the past. That's it for now, I'm sure other people will have a lot of things to add!
