  1. Check your worn items to make sure you have nothing attached to your avatar that shouldn't be there.
  2. That error is given when the land access is restricted through the estate manager/land tools, wether it's being closed to the public or needing age verification/Payment Info on file. Or when an individual has been banned. Perhaps since the new region was attached to the current one the settings got borked and is now affecting both regions. I would strongly advise to restart the region in question again. And to triple check to make sure access has not been manually closed to a certain group of people. If the problems persist after a new restart, the Estate Owner can hop into live chat with LL to inquire about this problem.
  3. Make sure you do a clean re-install of firestorm, as failing to do that leads to most issues with the installation and running of firestorm. Here's a guide on how to do a clean install: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_clean_reinstall
  4. It looks like your graphics card is crapping out, I have had a problem similar to yours before. A driver update fixed it for me, have you tried that? Do not let it auto search for a new driver, most of the time it won't find the newest one, but go to the graphic card manufecturers site and check manually on it for a drivers update. What may also help is going back to a more stable previous driver release. Somehow, somewhere the newest FS version and your graphics card have started to go at it thunderdome style.
  5. It would help if you could find out what error message people get when they fail to teleport to the sim. Has the estate owner tried to restart it again? Sometimes when sim's come back up they get borked and need to be restarted once more.
  6. Hi there, first, check in your received items folder, or if you know the name of the gift, use the search function in your inventory. Deleting items is done in two steps, the first is to delete the item and it will land in your trash can. From the trash can you can purge (forever delete) or restore the item. Make sure it's not in there either. Also, it seems most unusual that your friend would get a message that you deleted the gift Never heard of that before.
  7. You exchange real money for Lindens, the Second Life Currency and you can then use those Linden to buy things from the market place or in world. You can use a credit card, paypal and other means to purchase Linden. If you cannot purchase Linden, but have skills such as building, photography, scripting and such, you could offer your services in exchange for Linden. Or dance/host at a club for tips. There's an inworld employement subforum that might be interesting for you.
  8. Unless they explicitely ask you where you got the outfit from, any advertising of said outfit (sending them LM's, dropping your store name) is unsolicited spam indeed and grounds for an AR. Whenever someone asks me if I like something someone wears I'll be polite about it, that is however not an invitation to send me anything or to even mention the store as I did not ask for it. And I would be extremely put off your store for such 'marketing'. And just because you say 'it's not really spamming' doesn't make it so

From your title, I thought you were going to reassure us that the SL servers don't use (a relevant version of) OpenSSL, but you didn't.:smileysurprised: Does anyone know? http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Tools-and-Technology/Account-Safety-and-the-Heartbleed-OpenSSL-Bug/ba-p/2619322
  10. Oh my, no need to become so dramatic I've posted your problem in the in world Firestorm Support group, and a moderator gave me this link that you should check out and follow: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_install_crash Hope it helps you Edit: In case it doesn't help you, can you log in using the Basic Second Life viewer? Or is this problem not limited to Firestorm?
  11. A restart does not get rid of bad terraforming, it just resarts the sim like you would restart your computer.
  12. I'm sorry you fell for that scam, but looking at the two avatars they still have up on the MP it's so obvious....Not only are these avatars copyrighted, one of them being a World of Warcraft Elf, but they also show a quality that SL avatars have not yet reached. Even if it didn't seem to be an obvious scam at first, but this one is on you for buying copyrighted material from someone else. That is illegal, and ignorance won't help you out here. LL does not get involved with resident to resident dispute, so you'll have to chalk this up as a learning experience. Never buy stuff that's being illegally sold on the market place, even if you DO get the stuff, as soon as the original copyright holder files a DMCA with linden lab, the items will be seized from your inventory at no compensation. Only buy original creations and if you're not sure you can trust the seller, do not make a purchase.
  13. Once you have everything selected and your prim as the last selected object you simply right click the selection and take it into your inventory. You do not put it into a box, you simply pick up the whole thing as is.
  14. Go to Dashboard > Account > Cancel Account But be aware that if you ever do want your account back there's a $9.95 fee and your Linden Balance as well as inventory might not be recoverable. Be sure to abandon any land you might own and to downgrade to basic membership if you are a premium member. Or you could simply uninstall SL and no longer loginto your account. That way, if you ever change your mind, it'll still be there and ready should you want to come back some day in the future.
  15. Provided you have clicked save it may take some time to update. The search listings update once a day, I believe the weblisting does the same.
  16. Perhaps, it's not the textures you have used that drop your fps, has anything else on the sim changed? Are there more people on the sim? Lag isn't limited to a single parcel, it's spread over an entire sim, so at worst, your neighbours can cause you and the other land owners lag. And of course, vice versa. The texture size of 512x512 is quite alright, definitely better than the 1024x1024 size monsters a lot of merchants upload to texture a door handle with.
  17. Elvira, you might get more help if you post your question in your mother language. What you typed up there doesn't make a lot of sense.
  18. Hi there, there's no Linden's here, we're all just users like you, so we cannot check what happened there. What you can do however is call the LL toll-free Billing Hotline to inquire about the double charge and missing Lindens: Toll-Free (US/Canada) 800.294.1067 Long-Distance 703.286.6277 Our Billing team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 19. Sometimes things seem to get stuck on an avatar, which is a client bug, I've had it happen before that I couldn't unattach random clothing items from my avatar. Usually a relog fixes it and let me detach the objects.
  20. Depends on many factors, for example, what do you use the 1/4th sim for? If it's a mainstore or club, you could use the rest of the prims to set up a mall and rent out mall space. Or you could create a hangout for people to enjoy and to draw traffic in.
  21. This tutorial is amazing, thank you so much for sharing Medhue. I have one question that I am hoping you could answer. Is there a way to mirror animations in avastar? I've tried to google it, but couldn't find a tutorial for it.
  22. For animations you can search the market place by typing in 'drinking animation' and the likes. As far as scripts go, I would highly recommend AvSitter. It's an all around talent letting you put animations into furniture incredibly easily and you can purchase add ons for it, too. I've used it before, made a chair, and upon sitting on the chair it asks you if it's allowed to attach a prop to you. When you click yes it auto attaches a coffee cup to your hand that the avatar drinks. When you stand up the cup vanishes from your hand. The avsitter website has detailed videos to get you going.
