  1. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/RAZ-FAX-The-Lost-Gemini-housewith-funitures/2780233 More than worth checking it out in world. It's amazing.
  2. Most items come packed up in a box, whether that is an actual box, a crate, a cube, a horse cart or a rainbow and everything in between. You will need to unpack the contents from the object, and here is everything you will ever need to know about it: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Opening-boxes/ta-p/700185
  3. Check out the caspertech mp store, they offer an incredibly awesome vendor system, with a gift card and other plug ins. You can also purchase their fat pack that includes the premium vendors, gift cards plug in, gacha plug in, lucky chair plug in and much more. I'm 100% satisfied with it all and their customer support is outstanding.
  4. Almost right. If the animations within the furniture and the ones within the AO are the same priority they cancel each other out, so sometimes the furniture animations work fine, other times your AO continues to play instead of the furniture animations. I honestly have no idea why some AO creators insist on making their AO animations priority 4. All it does is screw things up for both furniture animations and other animations, say a coffee cup hold animation that only affects one arm.
  5. When checking your lost and found folder, did you actually look for something called coalesced object? If you did, then you were a bit confused, coalesced object means that there's more than one object picked up at once and appearing as one put together object in your inventory. Here let me make it a bit more clear: Note how the coalesced objects icons are like broken rubics cubes, while the normal objects have a normal cube. The coalesced object can be named after any item within it, so it does not necessarily have an easily recogniseable name. Also sometimes it takes time to show up in your inventory. If all doesn't help follow Rolig Loon's adivce and clear your cache: 1. Open Preferences → Network & Cache 2. Go to the first path “Cache Location” and click the “Open” button behind the path. This will open a file explorer window displaying your current cache location. 3. Logout (close the viewer) and then delete everything inside the cache folder displayed in your file explorer. Now continue as follows: 1.Log back into SL, to a quiet region (try Smith or Pooley). On your inventory window, click “Recent Items”. 2.Wait for your inventory to repopulate fully. The process may be sped up, if necessary, by typing random letters into the search bar. 3.While inventory repopulates, do not teleport anywhere, and do not attempt to access anything in your inventory. Talk to people or surf the web, or just go out for coffee 4.Watch as it repopulates. As long as you can see (Fetched…) at the top of the inventory window, it is still loading. 5.Once inventory has repopulated, log out of SL once more, then log back in. Edit: Also never ever use return all with no copy objects exactly to evade situations like these. Always pick those up by hand as it is much safer.
  6. Thank you all very much for your thoughts! Aeromia raises several very good points, especially the point where costs should be cut in a way that would not make sense business wise hence why percentages being cut on said items wouldn't make much sense either. This has definitely given me food for thought, and I agree that all parties should get a fair percentage to evade the headache of judging each item individually. Will definitely bring this forth to my friend and see what we end up with. Again, thank you for all the thoughtful responses I really appreciate it
  7. Talking to a friend, we've considered perhaps collaborating on a business. Though, what boggles our mind is how to split the profits. The current set up of people involved would be: 1 Mesh Creator 1 Animator 1 Texture Artist Now, we thought 33% split, everyone gets a fair share. But then we thought further in depth and came up with a couple scenarios that might make the fair share not as viable: 1) The Mesh Creator makes a chair. The texture artist makes 5 Textures for it. The animator makes 10 animations for it. 2) The Mesh maker spends 20 hours on a detailed chair (work with me here!), the texture artist makes 10 textures for it. The animator? Re-uses the 10 animations because they fit this chair too. 3) The Mesh maker spends half an hour making a simple mesh. The Texturer makes 1 Texture for it. The Animator makes 5 brand new Animations for it. How would you split the percentages in such a business where sometimes the mesher does most the work, sometimes the texture artist and sometimes the Animator spends hours making animations for a specific object, yet at other times the animations are simply re-used so he/she doesn't spend any time on that object at all? We would like things to be absolutely fair, so perhaps we're overthinking it here, or perhaps the % needs to vary from item to item depending on who did what. And even if the Animator re-uses animations, should that lower the % of his contribution? After all, a chair wouldn't be anything without animations in it, and while he hasn't sat downto work on them, should he be shafted in the payout? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this and perhaps start a healthy discussion about this topic others could profit from should they be interested to start a business partnership.
  8. Pretty much exactly what you want: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/LoQ-Hair-BerryJuice-FatPack-PROMO/4832695 Edit: Just saw this one too, bump at the top, but thicker and longer ponytail: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/CaTwA-Mesh-Lily-Hair-2/5730993
  9. Hi there, you can't do that using the land tools, what I suggest is to search on the market place for an island that fits your land parcel. Whether that island is sculpted or mesh doesn't matter, it will function as a base for your house just fine. For example, while searching just now I found this: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/inVerse-walkable-isle-mesh/5905198 it's small, low Land Impact and can be modified to make it bigger (which may raise the Land Impact a little) and can be previewed in world. This would be what you are looking for a 'fake' island because you cannot actually terraform the ground up high enough to make a 'real' isle on the sea.
  10. Nowhere. If you signed up with a fake name and age you will need to open a support ticket and will most likely be required to send documented proof of your age and indentity. If you mean something else entirely, please edit your question and state it more coherently or in your mother language.
  11. If you didn't delete the account, simply log back in, everything will sitll be there. If you deleted it however you will need to reactivate the account indeed: Re-activating a canceled account If you have cancelled your account, you may be able to restore it, depending on how long ago it was cancelled. There is a US$9.95 reactivation fee for restoring an account. Warning: Even if your account is restored, the associated inventory, land, and Linden dollar balance may be unrecoverable. To start the process: Open a support case. Under What type of problem are you having? choose Account Issue. Choose Reactivate an old account. Enter the required information Click Submit.
  12. Stipends are always paid on tuesdays. If you signed up for premium on Wednesday of last week, you will have to wait till sometime today for the stipend to get paid. The 1000L stipend will be paid to you after you have been a premium member for 45 consecutive days.
  13. Hi there, if you've already restarted the sim and the problem persists for a lot of people, you might want to check if you have any objects on your land with an excessive script count. Go to About land and at the bottom -> Script info. This will list all the objects. If there's a lot of objects on the sim that use large textures even for small details, that can and most often does lead to lag. Also, sometimes its the avatars themselves causing lag, this is most often caused by badly scripted jewelry. I've seen avatars use up over 1000 scripts which is ludicrous!!! Lastsly, we're entering tuesday of doom, tuesday is the day of the week where rolling restats take place, and there's always things going haywire. You can keep yourself up to do date on the gridstatus here: http://status.secondlifegrid.net/
  14. What do you mean you cannot animate your avatar? A little more explanation would help us narorw down the problem! I'll adress the two that come to mind immediately: - When you sit on furniture, you will get a pop up asking you if the object may animate you. If you don't get that, reset the furniture's scripts. - If you sit down on furniture, but instead of the furniture animation it continues to show your AO animations, simply turn off your AO. This is caused by the Animations in the furniture and in your AO having the same priority. Unfortunately, a lot of AO creators upload their animations with the highest priority, which is a stupid thing to do, as it will overwrite furniture animation when you sit on it unless you turn off the AO.

I rarely crash. 6 times now today. and the inventory thing - that tends to be the asset server. I dont expect mind readers to help me - the point was that it's not just me - so is there something going on. You know something Linden or asset server related that us non mind readers wont know about unless they tell us? My system is fine elsewhere, fine every day. no problems thank you. Today - its been crashes galore at the fantasy fair (2 different sims) inventory problems but surprisingly no lag. If something would be going on it would be posted here: http://status.secondlifegrid.net/
  18. Then please do file that AR with the evidence you have and please do not infuse the AR with any personal feelings or suggestions as to how that person should be punished, it'd be counter productive at best.
  20. If the IM was shared outside of SL then there is no grounds for an Abuse report as the SL TOS only cover the SL clients, forums and any other part directly run by LL. If someone took your IM conversation and sent it per e-mail, or posted it on another website, than that is not covered by the TOS.
  21. DEMO is short for DEMOnstration and it is exactly that. A demonstration to preview a product before purchasing it, to see whether or not you like it, or is what you expect.
  23. We don't know what is going on because we cannot read minds, and we do not stalk everyone enough to know anything about your computer, your hardware, your internet connection and we certainly don't know what viewer you use. If you do want to let us know about all of that, then perhaps we could actually help you. If you use firestorm, go to Help -> About Firestorm and copy/paste everything in that window and post it here.
  24. Sorry aber das faellt unter die Sparte "Produkt Werbung" was in diesem Forum nicht gestattet ist. Mach doch einen Review blog auf wo do deine Review's posten kannst.
  25. Hallo, in den maturity guidelines steht dies hier unter Adult: Adult The Adult designation applies to Second Life regions that host, conduct, or display content that is sexually explicit, intensely violent, or depicts illicit drug use. A region must be designated Adult if it hosts, advertises, or publicly promotes: Representations of intensely violent acts, for example depicting death, torture, dismemberment or other severe bodily harm, whether or not photo-realistic (meaning that images either are or cannot be distinguished from a photograph). Photo-realistic nudity. Expressly sexually themed content, spaces or activities, whether or not photo-realistic. We broadly define what is "sexually themed" to include any sexually oriented activities and conduct. Um es auf den Punkt zu bringen, es steht ganz klar geschrieben das Nacktheit 'Adult' ist, und auch auf einem Adult sim zu sein hat, nicht auf einem Moderaten sim. Oben ohne faellt da auch drunter.
