  1. Why do you feel the need to put her on the spot like this? You cannot tell me you are this dense, that you do not understand that she might simply find that atttractive, and doesn't want you to pry into that. How would you like it if I'd pressure you into listing why you like your favorite sex position in bed, or why you are into, let's say some obscure fetish and paint that as simply being oh-so-curious. When she didn't answer your goddamn question, you could've taken the hint, but no, somehow you felt the need to press for an answer to what's clearly none of your buisness.
  2. Yeah, kinda confused why there's a need to mock.. sorry, question anyones choice of how they want to present. Like.. are people not allowed to like stuff anymore without having to defend their choices? And why would anyone imply that there's a need to see a therapist about it? What is this, Kindergarten?
  3. Well, you don't seem to be insecure then. Because that's how it should be. But there's quite a few people out there who are so insecure, they cannot handle that like a normal adult would, and instead fly off the handle. Why they would enable that feature in the first place, is somewhat beyond me. Are they so bored, so empty of anything that they have literally nothing better to do than enable a feature and then go cry about what they see? I don't know, if I don't want anyone to look at me, I don't go places, or would disable that feature and don't think about it.
  4. I didn't get the impression that Syo doesn't understand how modeling etc works. What she says, and what I agree with, is that the creator could at least say that they don't know, aka answering the question. I don't care if they hired a model or not, if they don't know that's totally valid - that option didn't occur to me, since most I see model themselves, picture just the item or use a non-sl render. But I think they could just say so, instead of outright ignoring. That's just rude.
  5. Pet peeve: Creators ignoring people asking what else, except their own creations, they're wearing on a picture. Like, yeah, I get you want to sell your stuff, and aren't a blogger, but come one, how would you like it to lose a sale because a user couldn't find your items because no one told them where to get it? I'm no blogger, and certainly not big enough to be of any significance, but I'm petty enough to not give credits to those kind of people anymore. >_>
  6. Also, just because others like to play with fire, doesn't mean you have to set yourself aflame as well. (Let Maddy do that for you, she's a professional) - meaning: Yeah, of course there are some people who stole the IP and use it - mainly because Disney isn't omniscient yet, so.. maybe nobody reported that to them yet. But if somebody does, Disney will take that seriously. I mean, come one, they told childrens hospitals off for using their characters in some murals. Do you really think they'll go "Naw, that's just on the 'net bra, just let those adoorable weirdos be!"? They will not, they cannot, actually. Because they risk losing their IP (Or specific rights about it? Not sure) if they don't stop that. That's the reason they're so agressive about it, lol.
  7. Truth be told, I'm more scared he'd outshine me on my big day!
  8. Well, at least I already know my future husband will be an alt!
  9. Funnily enough, I have been hit on by far more women, then men, while I was out shopping. Hrm.
  10. Do you expect me now to backpedal and feel bad about calling you out, lol? Because let's make it clear for you - I do neither. In no goddamn universe is "making a list of things that have feature X" a banlist of everything else. That'd be akin to saying everytime I list my favorite foods I'd hate everything I don't list and want it forbidden. It.makes.no.sense.
  11. ....did you have a concussion on your recent past, or is that a permanent thing going on with you?
  12. A great Idea! Here's some of my fav creators, who have most of their stuff modifyable - they're mostly fantasy themed: Aii&Ego - Fantasy clothing and accessoires: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/104395 Petrichor - Fantasy clothing and accesssoires: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/25375 Trap - Horns and ears and some accessoires: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/52694 Moon Elixir/Muse - Fantasy/modern clothing and lingerie, some of the older stuff is nomod, but most is: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/211201 Static - Fantasy, some clothing and accessoires: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/43975
  13. I'd like to add that while I mod a lot, and am able to make my own textures, I still buy fatpacks regulary. Because a red textured dress will always looks different, and much better, than a white dress tinted red, because with tinting, you also tint the highlights, which makes things look odd and dull. Most people I talked with understand and agree with that, and again, I never saw someone actually do that. So.. yeah, I don't think that's a good argument for stuff being nomod.
  14. I'm still no fan of no-mod, never will be, and I do not know one good argument for it. However, that excludes things like scripts and notecards, which do have a good argument for being no-mod: Them being mod is the same as them being full perm.
  15. Design assistant, primarily printed media. Customer Support for a German videogame Publisher - was asked if I'd like to become a community manager, but I declined, since I would have had to move. Well, currently none of the above, since I'm insane in the membrane.
  16. Not sure about that - I think they'd love to hear the first part "I'm not busy!" on it's own, but they surely don't wanna hear the rest. I mean, I personally think they're going with "oh you're busy" because they cannot fathom any other reason why people would not answer them. Sometimes people forget that how they see and experience themselfes is not how others do. Also, as hard as it is to believe, I do not screech at people or go full on trainwreckmode on them for that stuff. I explain that to them pretty plainly, and either they accept that, and then start a real conversation, or they don't, and then I just shrug and close that window, lol.
  17. If I get hit with "Oh you must be busy!"-Bull, I let them know that no, I am absolutely not busy, and it's 100% on them for expecting me to deliver them a conversation when they IM without having anything to say at all.
  18. "And your screenname and behaviour says a lot about you as well. Somehow, I am not concerned what the likes of you think of me. Strange how that works, eh? I'd ask you to do something for the environment and go play pick-up artist with the trash, but seeing how miserable you are at that, we'd propably drown in garbage." And that'd tell him all he needs to know about me. I am an asshat.
  19. I prefer somewhere in between. Not as stylized as say, anime-avatars, but not as photorealistic as can be either. I wear a lot of hand-drawn skins and "old" mesh hair with my fantasy-looks. Only my human form has a photosourced skin, and it took me quite a while to make that jump. But I'm nowhere near evox-levels of realism. I do like it on others, but for me, I have not found a look that was "me" enough to pull it off. I'm very particular about certain features, like lips. As for stylized skins - Matty already mentioned Fallen Gods, I'mma second that, as their Fangirl#1, lol. They're handdrawn, but mostly fantasy tones and paterns, but they also do have a human skintone line - Humanitas. (As well as some human tones in the Pure line). As for the halo around alpha hairs - I either try to minimize it by doing less dof, or a different background, or I manually try to fix it in post-production. Results can be hit or miss. Fluffys solution sounds great, will try that next, even if it's more work. I take pictures with shadows and dof enabled, a fitting windlight, and adjust in post-process. Mainly, I just do some colour-correction and balancing, cropping, fixing some flaws, adjusting or adding more lightning, sharpen/blur, grain, a bit of color-overlay in one or two corners, sometimes I add some effects, and lastly some light chromatic aberrasion, because I really enjoy that. Huh, that sounds more exessive than it actually is. I shoot with the same settings as I walk around in SL, but mine are already quite high. I'm too lazy to change the settings everytime I take a pic, and it'd slow things down for me.
  20. A good friend gifted it to me for christmas... didn't start for some reason. Found out, you need win10 for it, I'm still on 8. *sobs* Same thing that happened with Mass Effect Legendary Edition which I wanted to treat myself with for my birthday.
  21. Awesome! I can actually provide a hangout spot with rezzrights for groupmembers! *Pulls up her signature* I'm either there or in a premium sandbox, unless I'm out shopping! Hit me uuuup! I'm german, so my timezone may be off, although I'm often online in my late evenings.
  22. I was at 730, then I deleted half of them, and now I'm back up at 531. Most are rather unique, I think maybe around 40 of those are outfit variants. I saved some space by starting to combine those. So if I safed a look just a few items in difference, I'll wear everything and just put off the items I don't need after getting dressed, lol. My name is Sukubia, and I have a problem. That's literally all I'm doing in sl - making new characters. We need to meet and make great looks together!
