  1. My avatar is a representation of my inner me, my tastes, my quirks, even my opinions. I'd even go so far as saying that my avatar is a piece of my soul.
  2. Your local chat disagrees. You are wearing something that considers itself a microphone. Go to a sandbox and detach ALL attachments, including clothing, hair and HUDs. Then slowly reattach everything and test by saying something in local after each item that you reattach. Eventually, you will find what it is that shouts on your behalf. As for the script that does this to you, it's a really simple one. It may even temporarily rename the object that you are wearing from whatever it is, to "Kayala Pearl's Mic" and then back again to the original name. It's really simple to write that and would take only a few lines. But the trick now is to find which attachment it is, it could be a ring, headphones, a HUD of sorts... anything.
  3. Your button is named "Fspin" but your listener listens for "FSpin", with a capital S. Change one of the two to match the other and it should work like the rest does.
  4. You missed an accolade in your listen event. Replace lines 217-222 with: access = message; llOwnerSay("Access Mode: " + message); accessMenu(id); } } } and it will work just fine.
  5. Depends on why the account was deactivated. File a support ticket to LL, people in the forum can't really help you to get your account reactivated.
  6. I am 49 in RL, but 21 in my mind. I love shopping but rarely can afford it. I also like to hang and chat, about this, that and the other thing. My favorite musical genres are obscure 80s songs, punk, new wave, and other less common genres. I am openminded, hold strong opinions and... well, perhaps you should just find out. My RL time is the same as SL time, but I don't really have a set time that I will be online. Oh, I live in Bellisseria, and my houseboat is pen for all :-)
  7. LL has traditionally been very good at building bridges. Here's an old one in the Opera region, built by Ben and Xenon Linden and owned by Michael Linden. Note that Opera is located on the Sharp continent, also known as the former teen grid. That's how old the bridge is 🙂
  8. Doe, Doh, perhaps even Dove. It would help if you were to share the video in question.
  9. Known in the USA as acetaminophen, but better known under the common (but incorrect) name of Tylenol.
  10. Well, we know that the Moles get a kick out of us speculating about what is what, what is going to happen, and so forth. Abnor said that we have been close to guessing stuff in the past, so wouldn't it be a kick in the teeth if I would be right about the airships (which, I must repeat, I think is highly unlikely)
  11. A houseboat and a house ghost. You are very lucky indeed!!!
  12. I was joking about this, but then I got to think, what if these are actually AIRSHIP homes, which would appeal to people who are into steampunk, dieselpunk and those that simply kinda like that kind of aesthetic? I know, it's a stretch and quite unlikely, but... just... what if?
  13. Considering the size of the parcel, the location, and the rez/mooring/landing zones, I'd hypothesize that this will be a party zone! There is a square parcel at the end of the airstrip, that could be a bar of sorts, or a helipad, or just a rez zone for planes. Anyway, there's no doubt that this one is big. the area is located in 3 different regions so even if it is not going to be a party sone, it is designed to play a central and important role in Bellisseria's community, I am certain of that much.
  14. That testing process may take less long this time due to a lower volume of houses, but also experience and perhaps even improved testing procedures.
  15. Aw, you beat me to it!!!!
  16. I'm afraid that you can't get a refund, but if I were you, I would just stop paying rent and leave. I hope the rent wasn't very much. After all, the Hippo systems (rent boxes, vendors, etc.) are no longer available or supported in SL, so the chances of renting with that landlady going well are very slim to begin with. It's better you find out now that the landlady is no good than after months of paying rent, I wish you good luck finding a better home with a good landlord/landlady. I think you are better off this way.
  17. Sounds like you bought something off a Caspervend vendor. They are experiencing a large outage right now. Knowing Caspervend, the item will be delivered as soon as the outage has been resolved. That is, if your money has not been returned to you because of the failed delivery. In the meantime, hold on to the link that you were given which contains the transaction ID. This way you will have proof of purchase.
  18. My advice would be to relax, stop refreshing but also don't give up hope. There are more homes on the way. The release will be announced ahead of time but you will have to keep your eyes peeled but as soon that happens, you can come back and start refreshing again.
  19. New stuff is coming for the premium accounts, they are going to make it worth it.
  20. A region is a 256mx256m area of virtual land in SecondLife. A sim (short for simulator) is the software that runs on the servers, this software simulates the regions. Each simulator contains several regions. I once heard that there are 4 regions per sim, but I am not sure if that number is correct (anymore). EDIT: I see that Rolig beat me to it. Only using different wordings.
  21. Since the spares are resellable, and since there is a HUGE and thriving market reselling these items, check out the marketplace and find the pink version, pay the (cheapest) reseller for that items and walk away happy in the knowledge that you got the pink version! Nobody forces you to play the gatchas. I don't play them either (except for literally one time only). If there's one that I want, I check the MP and if the one that I want is too expensive (perhaps because it's a rare) I check back one or two days later and see if someone had put a cheaper one on the MP, or I simply forget about it and just don't get the stuff. Yes, playing the gatchas is bit of a gamble, but in an actual gambling game, if luck isn't on your side you will be out of your money. With a gatcha, you always get something for the money you pay. Show me a gambling game where the same is true.
