The new theme 'Ranch', Spring View floorplan. More photos to follow as I decorate.

I am loving the new 2048 theme. I know it is called 'Ranch', but the Spring View floorplan reminds me more of a farmhouse. So this is going to be my country retreat. No barns, no garden, but maybe a small apple orchard? I dunno. I finally settled on a color palette for the inside, utilizing, blues, grays, and greens. This is just a sampling, and it may change. My parcel sits next to the void at Squeaky Springs. Will be interesting to see how the area progresses. Great job Linden Labs!

I live in a rural area myself in first and have the telephone poles. I think it is a nice touch on the regions.

The Spring View has everything I need. Front and back porches, and just enough room to fit my needs. 703 land impact. I think I can work with this. The color scheme may change Not sure how long I will stay here, as I need to be close to some water, somewhere. For now, it's home.

I rezzed in on Second Life's 7th birthday. I am 13 years young today. I made my rounds at the Shop & Hop (just visited stores I frequent). I will visit the rest of the regions as well, at a leisurely pace. Happy Birthday Second Life!!! Here's to another 20 years!!!

I am all about classic styles, and conservative dress. I do have club wear, but, it must cover the butt, and yes, I always wear undies, and I don't mind showing a bit of cleavage. Always in good taste though. Just looking through my closet, also known as my inventory...Dead Doll, COCO, Tetra, ISON, Just Because, Thalia Heckroth, Erratic, Belle Epoch, Aleutia, Plastix, Tres Blah, Valentina E., Clef de Peau, Rowne, Giz Seorn, Fashionably Dead, PurpleMoon, AlaFolie, just to name a few. For jeans and casual wear, I also shop at...Addams, Blueberry, Neve, Mimikri. Since I wear a Maitreya body you can't go wrong with any of the clothing and accessories in the store. Shoes I wear, GOS, ChicChica, Narcodix, Pure Poison, Marchese...For club wear, Ricielli, but I also wear conservative dress in clubs.

ChicChica, Baiastice, Equal, and Pure Poison all have a few kitten heels.

I would suggest trying COCO.

I am happy to see LL release this. I have set my region to deny scripted agents, so we shall see.

I have been a Catwa Catya diehard since the head came out. I see no reason to change. I haven't had the inclination to. This head has everything I need. Makeup? Not a fan of the HD. I have enough BOM and applier makeup to see me through until SL's end. I don't wear that much anyway. I tried a few EVO X for fun and was not impressed. I have Genus heads...never used them. Nothing compares to my Catya. IF Catwa goes by the way Slink did...I will be fine. I have everything I need to carry me through. Not interested in the next big thing or the current big thing, for that matter.

I've never understood why anyone would not be willing to tell you the name of a creator they are wearing. Long ago I was told, "find it yourself", or, along the lines of, "F off", or complete silence. As above, I would recommend the 'What is she wearing' HUD. It works great and lists every attachment the person you are interested in is wearing.

I would suggest NXT weather system. Thunder, lightening, rain shower, downpour, light snow and blizzard. Sound effects are amazing. I used it on my full region and loved it. It even has muddy puddles for the ground. The system is very realistic. I downsized from a full region to a homestead and if I have enough land impact left over, I will install it around the house so I can sit in my swing, on my porch, watch and listen while I sip tea. I would not use this system in Bellisseria though.

I paid for Premium Plus the first day it was offered. I never thought the 2048 parcels would be ready in 2022. I am happy to wait, as the group slots and free uploads were important to me. The 2048 plots will be ready, when they are ready.

While I like some clutter, I like my bed neat and tidy. I don't like messy at all.

I will reiterate this again. Second Life. Your World. Your Imagination. Whatever floats your boat. I'll just laugh and laugh to myself when I see this though.

Then doesn't the fault lie with you for not visiting Slink to see if there was an update? What about group chat, and group notifications? If you wanted to know the latest, would it not be prudent to have those turned on? It could also mean following the Slink Blog. I bought wto bodies when I converted to mesh. Slink and Maitreya, thinking I would wear both. Wrong. I became and still am a diehard Maitreya user, and my Slink just sat in my inventory until I relegated it to storage. The only thing I used was the feet until Maitreya updated to five different foot looks. Ever so often I would go to the Slink region and get a redelivery just in case. And if I am not mistaken I got a few update notifications from either the group chat or notices. The last being when Slink went with full BOM. I keep coming back to this topic and am beginning to wonder if peeps are just beating a dead horse. Slink is gone. I so wish Siddean the best in whatever endeavor/path they may take. LET IT GO!

I was a hold out when static mesh heads came out...preferring to wait for the Bento release. I went and got the Catwa Catya head, picked up some DEMO skins from my favorite skin store and went to work recreating my signature default look. I spent almost 2 weeks I think working on that head until I was satisfied with my updated look with hints of the old me still there. I continue to use the Catwa Catya head, updating as needed, even though there will no longer be updates forth coming. It's alright. My mesh head is BOM, and I use makeup at the bare minimum. Not a fan of the HD everyone is fanning over. Life moves on...I just don't do change well sometimes or follow the masses. Last week I let go 3 beloved Bellisseria homes. A log, vic, and trad. It was tough doing it. But I quickly got over it and put those three alts in storage. I've kept a Stilt and my beloved Newbrooke. I never could get to all of them to decorate, as I also have a full region that occupies a lot of my time as well. To be honest after 12 1/2 years of shopping I have just about all the clothing I need and a large percentage of that is conservative dress. I still have a few things on my list to purchase clothing wise, but it gets shorter and shorter. The fun part I enjoy is mixing and coordinating clothing pieces. That is addicting. I love shoes, and to a certain extent hair. I pretty much stick to GOS shoes. I have long hair in first that I wind up sitting on. So it's fun to look for hair...and right now is updo's I am on the search for. I have a very nice collection started. Makeup not so much. So overrated in my book. I have digressed a bit. Linden Homes can be and are addicting. I am waiting for the 2048's as I am Premium +. If I am able to get a nice plot I may consider letting go of my other Linden Homes. Time will tell. In the end lots of things are addicting in Second Life lol.

I've worn nothing else but Amara Beauty since 2015. My suggestion would be to IM Shana and ask her personally what she did to achieve this look. She is a very nice lady and I am sure she would be able to help you. I know at one time early on using her skins I was having trouble with my lips and she was glad to help. Couldn't hurt.

Fond memories of Slink Hands and Feet. The best of the best that was out there. I wish Sid all the best in whatever endeavor she attempts. The pandemic was hard on everyone. Close the door and you go girl!!!
