I don't think any CEO would ever turn down money, but that is not what I was thinking when I made the post. But then, Money is the game of SL.

I don't know if your still looking through here or not, but... We are hitting you up right and left with things we would like worked on... So here is a question for you... Is there anything we can do to make life easier for you?

The first thing to remember is that what works for one person may not work for another. I used an anti-virus that was touted here in the forums and I could not use it. It has been a couple years now and I don't remember the name. But I am using Avast and it works for me. I have burnt up one video card but the place I bought my PC from replaced it with no questions asked, quick and easy. Get quality to start with and save yourself some headaches. One thing to remember, dust / clean your PC often. My PC case has big holes across the top and one side, I put window screen over them and need to wash it from time to time to keep the air flow open, I just keep an eye on it. If your looking for a TPV with fitted mesh, try Kokua-3.7.1, says it has fitted mesh on the Kokua web page.

One thing about the new mesh is that it will only be one size instead of the 5 sizes you get now. So it will take about 1/5 the work to make it (one size instead of five sizes). So you should get a lower price, 1/5 the work = lower price. But don't hold your breath on that one. Yes I know, not exactly 1/5 the work, but still only one size instead of 5 to package for sale.

I have seen this a number of times in the forums, why would you get rid of your avatar? To me that is a little like saying, I got rid of one of my kids today. Its not going to happen. There is nothing you can do with a new avatar that you can't do with an old one, is there? So why? If anything ever happens to SL I'll cry for weeks over the death of my avatar. (Is that odd?) OP, why? (if you don't mind me asking)

Hi Ebbe (again), I have seen suggestions from others about things that need to be addressed, so... File this under “SUGGESTION” New USER Retention. One of the things no one can be in denial about, is that in Second Life, a very large amount of the items for sale cost an obscene amount of money. {yes, to my purse it is true, like it or not} Have a Demo switch on the Marketplace, off = no demo in search results, on = you see demos. Why? I have heard from one friend (one I know is a small amount but I would bet it happens a lot) that playing on SL is just to expensive. But there are good items for not that much on the Marketplace if you have the staying power to find them, and I am talking hours of searching. I set my upper limit to 150L$ and I get Demos for items costing thousands of lindens. What good does that do, really, what good, if you don't have the money, its not going to pop out of your “what ever” so you can buy that really expensive thing, its not going to happen. Get the Demos out of the search results on the Marketplace. Let the new people see you can survive on SL without spending an arm and a leg.

I took a look at the links, I don't see any problem at all. I don't understand what you are complaining about.

Go to Marketplace, select Avatar Componets, then, Avatar Skin and Shape Combination. Go down to Price and enter 50 on the right side and press enter. I got over 3000 items, some will be Demo but there are a lot of 50L or less avatars.

I took advantage of the half price sale this past December. After six years this is my first go at Premium. And after changing houses three or four times I like the Linden Home I have now. I look at them like a neighborhood with a Home Owners Association, no junk cars or trash all over the place and no one will move in and put up some really strange and ugly pos next door to me. I like it and I think I'll stay for a while.

You paid how much for shoes!!! If I put out that much for a pair of shoes I would quit SL too. But after paying that much you would think the creator would give you an update for free, but probably not, its all about the money, has nothing to do with Second Life for a lot of creators. If you use an up to date viewer you don't even need to remove the invisiprims, they just can't be seen any more. At least it works like that for the Linden Lab viewer and the TPV'ers I use. Also, I have used the alpha from Demo shoes to get almost exactly the alpha needed for some old shoes. Good luck.

No, no, no! Get rid of the RECEIVE FOLDER button completely. It is the biggest wast of space on the Inventory window anyone could conceive of. And the buttons under it, what on Earth is wrong with the right mouse button. Really, just get rid of it, completely!

You could try going back some with the driver. When I loaded 320.18 I started having problems like your are reporting. I went back to 306.97 and it worked fine. When 320.49 came out I installed but still had problems. I was having problems with my fans racing and not turning off after I shut my system down. I think I am using 310.90 now, I just downloaded 332.21 but am a bit shy about installing. Some updates are more for support for new cards rather than something new and great for my card so I will stay where I am until a couple more updates come out, or I have some other problems. I have GTX 550 Ti made by Asus on an Asus mother board.

I thought I would give premium a try and now I have a Linden Home. Have played around with it some and I am trying to set up a radio station. Went to about land and set a url in the sound area but I get no music. I have an old radio and I set it up but that did not help. I have used it before successfully in another house but that was years ago. Thought url could be old so found new listing but still no sound. Do I need to join a group for a Linden Home? I am using the latest LL viewer. The radio is not group enabled. I have turned on sound in preferences. Any help would be appreciated.
