Hey guys, I need some help figuring out the right aspect for a '1st life' profile pic so it does not appear squashed. I am using the firestorm viewer....the image I have is 1280 (H) x 960 (W). I have read it should be 1:1 ratio.....but then other sites say for firestorm it uses 4:3 ratio for both 1st and 2nd life tabs.....so I am at a loss, if anyone would be so kind as to do the math that knows this, would be greatly appriciated. Tearing my hair out trying to figue this out....thank you

Very cool, yes it does work, it makes sense now. I'm so happy lol. Thank you very much for taking the time to explain this process to me. I see from now on I will always do the pathcut option, takes some tinkering with texture alignment but the end result is much less of a headache and it removes 2 un-needed prims. Now I just need to figure out how to add door sounds lol. So much to learn, but might I just say it's people like you that keeps me ambitious in learning more. For that I thank you

hmm ok that somewhat makes sense. So reseting it may have been the problem. I have a hinge prim with the doors, but i noticed when i link the doors to the rest of the house, the doors cease to open at all. So I left them unlinked from the rest of the house. They are double doors linked to its hinge prim only (seperate from one another). So if i link it to the rest of the house, and reset the script, then package it for resale or give, then the next owner should be able to rotate the house and the doors will still open as it is set up to no matter the rotation? I hope I read that correctly, I will also read up on the 2 links you have suggested as well. I do appriciate you taking the time to clear this matter up a bit. Ty

Hello fellow sl'ers, I have run into an issue I am hoping could be resolved. I have a door script (one I got for free to use). As I am still learning about LSL, I have run into an issue with my door script. I have finished a house build, and gave it to the person. However when they rezz the house, and rotate the house, the doors no longer swing open as they are supposed to. Seems they have to be in the same position as I packaged the home for the doors to open like they are supposed to. I can't figure out how to script it to be universal for when the house after being rezzed, can be rotated in any direction and the doors open and close like normal. Knowing how knowledgeable those of you who script, I would be very much appriciative for some help on this matter. Hopeing maybe their might be a script line to add to make it universal to positioning. Anyways heres the script.
