  1. That's really lovely. Catching up any time is perfectly fine!
  2. No one needs to have the official viewer installed. Each viewer runs on its own. BUT if you have any issues in the future support will ask you to reproduce those issues on the Linden viewer to make sure it isn't a viewer issue. To my knowledge that is the only reason you would "need" the Linden viewer.
  3. Just a reminder that you are dealing the TILIA, not Linden Lab directly so contacting Tilia support would be the thing to do. Not everyone is going to be able to process their credit to Paypal. There was one long time Sansar citizen (from alpha) that had been trying for a year to get things worked out. The latest thing he was doing was getting a certified letter from his bank. I am not sure if that worked or not as I left Sansar about a year ago. So it is possible that you may not be able to process your credit balance. To be fair, The Lab did give folks a heads up over a year
  4. If you try looking in your shopping cart with another browser and the items are STILL there -- then you will need to put in a support ticket as the problem will need to be solved in the backend.
  5. New week and new color. What will it be? I bet you are wondering how I am choosing the colors each week. I could of course pick out a hue available in a recent purchase, but where would the fun be in that? There are 52 weeks to choose from. I think of a number between 1 and 52 (with number 38 out of the running) and then look up that color on my keepsake page. This week the number 14 was floating around in my head --- and number 14 is an oh so easy color. I am sure everyone has lots of this in their closet. BLACK Now we don't need to worry abo
  6. Some folks got paid. A friend was paid a little less than an hour ago. So likely money will be arriving for everyone soon.
  7. Hey little color stylists -- you can add your photos to the official challenge Flickr group should you so choose. https://www.flickr.com/groups/secondlifechallenge/
  8. Last call for PATRIARCH our new to most folks variant of purple. Some intrepid folks got their outfits together. Hurray for them. Tomorrow it's a new color and a new adventure. Those joining in later can of course go back and make up tints, tones, shades and hues they have missed. And of course "dabblers" can add their photos on SOME colors and shun others. I am sure those colors will feel left out so some guilt might be involved there :D. See you tomorrow.
  9. Anyone can have free ads for new items or gifts hunts and the regular event listing. Some ads are extra like the top banner and having your event "boosted" etc. This is all in the literature on their page. I am pretty sure anyone having a Black Friday sale that actually IS on Block Friday (oh my can that really be ? :D) gets free advertising at Seraphim when that listing comes out. It is just that SO many people are having "Black Friday" sales weeks ahead of the traditional day.
  10. Woooo---ooot. This just out in the Snow Globe group for those of you that may watch this thread and NOT have your group turned on for messages (I get you there but I always leave LAND groups on :D). I have raised the prim allowance from 50 to 100 prims for the homes on the ground. Skyboxes are not affected this time. Friendly greetings ♥
  11. Beds are really the killer. I may try and make a new bed or adapt an older bed (I have made a few) and see how low I can get. I did have a very low land impact daybed that was cute but the minute I turned my LOD setting down to 2 I deleted it. VERY bad LODs :D. It is a really cute cabin and I like it a lot. Just wish it had actual good physics LOL. Picky Picky.
  12. Train car goodness WITH credits and LIs (such a good girl). More info up on the blog. Hopefully this pastes in OK :D. Most of my décor pieces were one land impact or less when linked, but I splurged on this lovely bit of kitchen clutter, a gacha item from MERAK. Several items were tinted to continue with the brown accented neutral theme. Here is the rundown on the items used. Trompe Loeil - Exton Bed Light -- 6li at this size ChiC buildings [Cb] Mini Wall Kitchen - Birch - 6 li at this size Trompe Loeil - Romy Cove Chair Leather PG - 3 li (X2) ROI
  13. Don't forget about the heavy mesh. It isn't always scripts. In fact, these days it is more likely heavy mesh :D.
  14. Once I figured out BOM I was a fan all the way and seldom use appliers any longer. What I love about it is that you always KNOW what you are wearing. You can see that in the worn tab. AND with appliers once you change something for one outfit it changes it for all the outfits so you had to go back and redo over and over. Also easier for content creators. AND BOM works for any BOM body, no various versions needed.
  15. OK. I am starting on the free rail car from the Belle Époque hunt. Some of you must have gone to get that. Marianne? Wish me luck. It seems like a REAL challenge LOL. Lots of different ways to go. EDIT: Finished at 10 PM. Dinner, a 1.5 hour movie and a one hour conversation in the mix. Oh and a one hour bath LOL. So about 2.5 hours. Looks good. Photos tomorrow.
  16. Heads up my little Snow Globe watchers. I spied a new house out on the ground -- just like mine. So get your stalking binoculars on the ready. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Renaissance/73/230/24 There may be more. I will update if I find them Note this has no number yet Number 13 is empty so there may be a possibility there soon. Remember you NEED TO DECORATE (so the landlady knows you are there) or you will lose it. Only fair. And of COURSE we want to see what you did.
  17. And the weekend sales are great places to shop. I found several PATRIARCH garments for 50 or so lindens. And a new (and fun) weekend shopping sale opened today on the Serasim. I went over there and had a great time. Bought a very pretty necklace too. More info on my blog or check the Seraphim website. New colors are on there way. Patience is called for. I actually worked very hard this week and did the posts through Christmas. I KNOW how busy I am in December as I cover Advent as well as all the event gifts. There were some hard colors for me in the bunch and some easy ones
  18. Walking the lake. Watch out for the alligator (or crocodile - not sure :D)
  19. Have you ever bought a new car --- even one that is WHITE or silver which is what most cars seem to be these days -- and all of a sudden you see that same model and color of car everywhere on the road? Even if it is a specialty car? Well that has been happening with me and patriarch -- LOL. For those of you still looking for purple-esce attire that will fit in with week one of the color challenge, I spied lots of possibilities on the Saturday sale -- and indeed on some other weekend sales also. So zip on over to Seraphim and wander through the shopping catalogs.
  20. You just GOTTA love serendipity. For those of you working on your PATRIARCH styling, have I got a deal for you. Free is good. We like free. I went over to check out a new to me store that was having a gift card giveaway for group and as I was looking around the shop I found this free jewelry set. Better yet? It is violet. Even BETTER yet? There is a six choice color hud of violets (light, dark, patterned etc) for the future. Find it here. Hair - Poetry by Truth
  21. I bet you are wondering how I am choosing the colors each week. I could of course pick out a hue from one of my recent purchases, but where would the fun be in that? I want to play too! There are 52 weeks to choose from. I think of a number between 1 and 52 (with number 38 out of the running) and then look up that color on my keepsake page. This next week the number will be (forgot that I can't mention the number as people can look that up --- OOOPS) was floating around in my head --- and number ** is an oh so easy color. I am sure everyone has lots of this in their c
  22. I don't hang on to much (never have) so I know there will be some challenges for me in the future. But I DO keep well made UNUSUAL garments and accessories, so I am guessing a lot of those will get used. You look great anyway -- even if maybe not "comfortable" in that dress and crown LOL.
  23. Not saying but I can say that this is NOT the outfit for next week. Not even close :D. And I am not "cheating". More on that next week :D. Or maybe I should post that on the thread ^^. Will think on it.
  24. Phantom of the Opera photo. Don't forget to check out the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge! If PATRIARCH is too tough for you, next week is super easy LOL.
