Goofing around again, I wanted something old school, a little retro nostalgia

Making a background from this picture in Winter Wonderland

And using my avatar from this one

and changing each of them to to much lower quality, and then combining them in GIMP

What have I done¿  It kind of reminds me of Daggerfall which I'll include a picture below.  I shrunk my avatar, so the pixels aren't as noticeable though :( I needs my pixels!

Edit:

Cheating a bit by adding pixels from GIMP to my pixie, a pixelized pixie.

Daggerfall... yours could be a screencap from a Sierra adventure game as well :)

I think the AI obliterated  what made your sweater dress so attractive:  the texture of the fabric and the wonderful detailing.  Style notes, please?

I fed the photo to this model online. The prompts I used were "replace the face, keep the sweater dress and background".

I could goof around with this for hours, it is a lot of fun.  In a few more months, hopefully, I will build a new PC with a 3060 graphics card that has 12gb vram so I can play around with better models.
