The difference between North and South. Hugs you back! We moved from up north when I was 10 and then to Tennessee where we are now.. Ya, there was no prom or dances or going into town or anything like that.. Mostly just with them somewhere like a party on someones farm or hanging out with their friends.. Which honestly was really stupid of me.. I cringe a lot when I think back on those things.. 3

I never read profiles. Only to find info about creators. I'm not interested in family stuff, the expected do and don't. If people feel so self important that they expect others to study their profiles first, it is their problem not mine. If I want to start talking to someone I don't know, I just start and take it from there, just like in RL. Sue me. And I guess, what you use or don't use in your profile is up to you, Love, but don't expect that everybody is fluent in kitties talk or whatever other typonese.. Of course people don't have to read profiles, but if they use that as an excuse to be creepy and push past someone's clearly stated boundaries, then that's wrong. 5

Kids that argue are most of the time the smarter ones. But at a certain age (around 11-13 years) some kids try to argue about really everything. Why do we have to make homework? Why do we have to learn Geography? A million times explained and still asking... Than it can become handy to simply use these 2 rules at times. Otherwise one doesn't get further than page 10 of the textbooks in a year.

Arguing over the content of the teaching is vastly different than arguing over "why" someone has to learn it.

Although, I feel there is nothing wrong with questioning "why" someone has to learn a particular subject or topic. That again is different though than arguing over it.

Fortunately my mum equipped me from an early age with an arsenal of really colourful and impressive British curses and expletives. 2 2
