Open plan would have been fantastic, especially with the single-story ones.  Before trying the new houseboats I'd gone for the new open plan Traditionals which I love (though still find them all a bit small, but the open plan does help with that, specially the Winchester (Windsor?) which is my favourite.

The new HBs look like trads on a barge to me, and not in a good way.

But, now that I finally decorated it well, I LOVE the open plan trads! I was planning on dumping one of them to wait for the 2048s, but I upgraded an alt instead.

I tried some open plan trads too and I much prefer to the originals - some great locations came up yesterday as well trad wise. I am still a boat fan but am unsure yet - greener houseboats are a def plus. But I do have my eye on fantasy coastline and I think the ultimate would be fantasy houseboats!

Studio 56 (in the Holiday Dock model) is done, it's a huge exercise to decorate and leave the 90 prim boat on the dock, so I tried to do the best I could... I also made a new EEP to match the decor if you want pick it up to try it is in one of the gift boxes along with two others.

 

I wanted to make the environment bright and a little nostalgic, with colors that are bright and soft at the same time.

Found a houseboat parcel I really liked. Noticed today that the FPS had dropped dramatically...so I went searching for possible reasons. Guess what? One of my neighbors has like a DOZEN CasperVend dropboxes in their houseboat!

Yes, I've reported and derendered.

The covenant clearly states that these are not allowed and there was even a forum thread on it a while back.... so it is hard to believe the person was not aware of that rule. I am surprised that they did not at least put them in a skybox or something less obvious. Good for you for ARing them.

All the same, Casper system is pretty efficient and low lag. I am not sure that removing those dropboxes will completely resolve the lag issue. It may be that another of your neighbors has a petplant farm or something up else illegally laggy in the sky.

You might wan tot use the premium support chat to ask a linden to use About Region to run a performance analysis on the region and see if the dropboxes are the only thing causing the lag. I did that once and they found a couple of offenders, who they ARed.

I had a dropbox in my LH a short while before I saw the notice about them - I had no idea! But I see that from jumping around homes a bit again the info notecard is pinged out as soon as you arrive so as long as people read it...

Gods, that is lovely! I almost hope I don't like the new 2048 PPlus houses. If I don't like them, I'll pay for one or two Premiums. I can have 2 Premiums and save 50 US. It's quite a difference.

Early Bellisseria, sun sea and "sand" which I've come to appreciate a bit more as I've got better at landscaping - this has a boathouse just off camera on the right as well, lots of cute details and pathways. 2048 wise I think ranch style is out for me but if Colonial style comes up that might do it and if a Georgian theme ever comes up I can kiss goodbye to my life savings.
