  1. Almost everything you see is user created content. Not LL's responsibility really. They have added shinies over the years. IMHO SL is not too shabby for a sandbox "game". Just stay away from large chunks of Mainland (Teasing Mainlanders here a bit ) Yup, there has a lot changed since the computer that was able to run Packman and Pong smoothly Modern games need modern gear. And SL isn't as demanding as many people think hardware wise. It just likes to toast or fry integrated video cards, that's all.
  2. I understand that. I was just fooling around a bit. Carnival \ mardi gras is playing up a bit.
  3. I went to Colourado. A totally cool place, worth visiting.
  4. People are aging. So more and more of our Residents get retired in RL and then the peak hours are no longer important. I just look at myself, my login hours vary from in the morning until late at night since I've stopped working in RL. Basically my in-world-time shifted from "when I can" to "when I feel like it".
  5. Not my world. I only buy necessities 99% of the time. Damn, I'm the boring type.
  6. The money side of SL should work smoothly 99.9%+. Period. People who take money out of SL ain't the amateurs of the platform. Business to business should function flawless. No excuses. More than a few hours malfunctioning is already a joke in the modern Internet age.
  7. Premium plus are already pretty low volume designs compared to the rest. As a hobbyist I can create for SL without looking at my wallet. I don't calculate the hours invested. For the Lab that is different. They have to justify the wages they trow at a project. So a 2-5 sim project will never happen I guess. Premium plus is expensive already. I don't think people will line up for a 100 USD\month plan. For that kind of money one can get a homestead.
  8. So you're main point is basically that LL should stop further development of Belli in favor of mainland, because everything is there already?
  9. They should let the guys from Billing have a look at the problem. Billing always works smooth and flawless like the clockwork of an expensive Swizz watch.
  10. I agree with that, but SL merchants have to work with what they get offered and make the best out of it , so they use the SEO that works. LL has very little to gain with a lot of effort to improve the search engine IMHO. The marketplace isn't their big money maker. More a L$ sink. It doesn't really matter to the Lab who buys what from whom, as long as the MP sinks enough L$ through their commissions. So it will not be on their priority list as long as the MP doesn't collapse totally. As long as there is enough buying activity their all good.
  11. I totally agree on that. This should not be done via email. But it happens. Not only with Tilia. Some companies never learn, or very slow.
  12. Are you sure that this isn't a phishing mail you got? I would contact support on that one when in doubt.
  13. Guess what, there are commercial companies who help other companies to "optimize" search results in Google. Can't say that they are shady. The search engines always have rules (algorithms) and it is always possible to get better results with adequate knowledge.
  14. No. "Belli shop"* is sufficient. AND is optional..... * No need to test, it gives no result.
  15. The search string "The plant that I'm looking for" should lead to the right plants on the first page.
  16. A decade later than what? Someone asking a question on the forums isn't the same as suggesting a feature. IMHO, If an event organization doesn't want one around yet, there is only one thing to do: Wait until one gets access. And reviving a 9 year old thread, I dunno.....
  17. There are so many items on the marketplace that no one can't expect to be on the first pages with general search words like table, jeans, suit or plants. People should be Internet savvy enough by now to know the google basics to find stuff. All (merchants and customers) should know that keyword combinations are more important than single keywords to get results.
  18. So I finally decided to set up shop again in world. I bought myself a nice building from @Cain Maven and now it is time to make all the signs and posters, come up with a vendor design and then fill them with content. I've put out a coming soon sign, but it could get a bit later easily.
  19. Yurts. Circular tents of felt or skins on a collapsible framework, used by nomads in Mongolia, Siberia, and Turkey.
  20. Very relaxing to listen to. Thanks for sharing.
  21. If you have the signatures on in your browser: πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
  22. Seeing the rapid movements by some on the event, I guess the correct answer is the quickly moving between locations. And now the question for the brandnew refrigerator ...........
