It did not ask me either (so far). I'm more peeved that the marketplace is a mess again today. More than half of my listings missing. Grrrr. 🤬- 23,095 replies

The most advanced time schedule for Europe (Moscow) is somewhere around 8 in the evening. So I think you have to adjust your clock a bit, if you post from Europe. Between 4 and 7 hours to go in Europe before the champagne can be uncorked.

No worries. Nothing really happens. The western (christian) world changes the number of the year that's all. There are 26 totally different New Years world wide, every year. So no big deal at all.- 23,095 replies

For the first time in years I have formulated a New Years resolution for SL: - Take being a merchant in SL not very seriously. The marketplace seems to be a past time hobby project for one of the senior Lindens sons, who followed a college course on web development two semesters ago successfully with a C- average grading. It can't be work of professionals, can it? This is happening off and on for about 5 months already now.

File tickets until the lab is flooded with them. The more the better. That's all we can do besides hope, pray (when religious) and watch the fireworks tonight (when available). I will not touch my marketplace listings the next couple of days, that is for sure. When one gets shaved, one has to sit still.

My guess: "Yes boss. PBR is integrated at the end of 2023, as promised". And since the boss only shows up in world if he really has to and has no real clue (like most of us) about the finesses of PBR, that will do. As long as it looks good in the 2023 books. The rest comes later or will simply be forgotten and ignored (as we have seen before with some other projects) until Second Life will come out of beta stages (expected somewhere in 2065). Hey, after all sim crossing isn't that bad anymore in 2023.- 23,095 replies

Friend can't change clothes at my house
Sid Nagy replied to SkylarGood's topic in General Discussion Forum
I took a mesh body, because it is much easier to dress than a system body. Of course I use a Gianni. Not because it is the best (is there a best?) but because 90+% of the fashion makers create for that body. It's pure practical. -

I have other things to do then following an university study about the basics of current mesh heads. People who don't like my system head can feel free to ignore me if they want to. -

What do I replace my Christmas tree with?
Sid Nagy replied to Bree Giffen's topic in General Discussion Forum
What? "The twelve days of Christmas" is a gift extravaganza combined with Lelutka heads. Every child knows that. More than worth to make a song about, right? -

Just leave it there. Imagine: just 337 days until Black Friday 2024 ..... better use your time making shopping and wish lists in advance. After all one needs at least two new heads, a new body, five new skins, 24 pairs of shoes and boots, a handful of two of new hair styles .......... and, and, and... -
Is Second Life more toxic than other games in general?
Sid Nagy replied to AmberJoyBliss's topic in General Discussion Forum
That is a good thing. Politics are officially declared unwanted here many moons ago. -
But Firestorm is not the snake oil solution for everything. It has it's issues too, more than once. It is a bit strange if someone says they have a problem with the engine of their Ford, to give as the solution: "Buy a Toyota".

You must be a true believer, if you think Firestorm is the snake oil solution for every issue that is SL related.
