If you think your son is weird, allow me to introduce myself.

I was pointing out that it doesn't happen just in specific sims, it happens grid wide. I also pointed out other sources to obtain names to IM. For those who haven't yet learned about such things. I've been in clubs with someone and had people IMing me from within the club. We were not interested in socializing with everyone in the club. We were interested in hanging out with each other at the club, just as people do in RL. We used to call them "dates" where the focus is supposed to be on each other, not everyone else. So there are situations where no, it isn't silly to get mad when you're just trying to have a night out and other people won't "butt out" of your IMs. Even after being told you're on a date and thanks but no thanks, politely. ETA: There are some people in SL who haven't learned that no means no.

You don't have to hang out in social places to get random IMs. I used to get them all the time on my build platform (when I had land) and there was no one else in the sim. There are those people who will go through a group member list and just start IMing everyone on the list. If you happen to be a member of that group, you will get those IMs at some point. Having a last name (or Resident last name) that starts with letters in the "low end" of the alphabet isn't a safe guard as the order of the member list can be reversed, or set by last log in date, etc.

It's up to you to determine that for yourself. I have been known to do just that for the simple reason that if you have something to say and it isn't something that should be said "in public" (open chat) you definitely don't need to be saying it to me in IMS. If you feel you need to hide what you have to say, it's not something I want to hear. My IM box, my rules. Don't like my rules? Don't IM me. For me, my IMs are for having private conversations with people I know, not strangers. "Private", in my case, does NOT mean pixel sex. I don't go there.

Looks kinda stoned to me. Then there's this which for some reason made me think you'd really like it.

It's bigger on the inside.

Sex & Nudity in Mature Mainland?
Selene Gregoire replied to Jaysson Turbo's topic in General Discussion Forum
Now you've done it. Everyone except myself and himself will be moving to LA soon. Big cities? *shudders* No, thanks. I've had more than my fill of big cities. Just last year I moved to a town of less than 24k population to get away from the worst of the Portland Metro area. It's much healthier out here on the edge of the boonies. I feel the same way in SL. That's why I'm looking for something that almost doesn't exist in SL, roleplay that occurs outside of the populated areas of an RP sim. -
Oh good. And there is no such thing as "attack helicopter" gender. Inanimate objects don't have gender, per se. Yes, things like ships are usually referred to as "she" but they do not have a gender. In some languages (Spanish, French, German) gender is assigned to objects but the objects themselves are genderless. It's metaphorical. https://www.druide.com/en/reports/metaphorical-gender-english-feminine-boats-masculine-tools-and-neuter-animals

I didn't mean this thread, in case that is what you thought.

Odd that you should mention that... not saying the thread was intended to be that, just that a few males decided to make it one.

Downturn in the SL Economy?

My two main stores are Emo-tions and no_match. I can usually find something at least close at one or the other. -
I am seeing one brown and one blue eye on the render. The right eye is brown. So it did catch the difference.

I tried one with a RL pic but it didn't look anything like me. Maybe I need a better pic but I don't have one. Not a recent one anyway. Just not into selfies. ETA: Why yes, yes it is off an old driver's license. I'm not about to scan any of the more recent ones.

Downturn in the SL Economy?

Yup. Problem is, it's no mod. So that leaves changing hair style. I'm ok with that. After all, the universe isn't perfect. -
Downturn in the SL Economy?

The problem I was having wasn't with tattoos as I don't wear them in SL. I have them in RL. Rather I couldn't help but notice that some of the long hair I use alpha-ed out the mesh clothing I was wearing. I don't think BoM is going to cure that problem. Of course, that assumption is based on what little I know about BoM so I may be missing something. -

That looks more like the alpha on the hair is causing that issue. I have noticed this is a problem with some of the mesh hairs I have (the ones that are part mesh, part flex are the worst). Choosing a different hairstyle usually takes care of the problem. Of course, YMMV. -
of my face you mangy

Self proclaimed 'alphas' have no clue what it really means to be alpha.
