  1. You can tell someone some [one] else is using a different account. What you can't tell them is the user name of the alt or any other information that is not included in the profile of that account. You can also convey what was said in a conversation. What you can't do is share the chat logs.
  2. No I didn't misunderstand anything. I don't play the "turn things around on the other person" game. If you go back and read my post where it shows the options in a third party viewer called Firestorm that I served over 5 years doing viewer support for, you will see. From the TPV policy: 2.k. https://secondlife.com/corporate/tpv.php#priv2
  3. You completely misunderstood what I said. I don't have the time to explain it because I have to leave for work in 10 minutes. ETA: I will add this though so you can read the thread for yourself:
  4. LL won't do that because it impacts other users experiences. Other users must have the option to be able to see the user name if that is what they want to see.
  5. In view of the user name you've chosen, I thought you might like this: http://www.redbone.be/History.html
  6. Some people are completely missing Tenly's point. I suppose those people are ok with their information being sold to who knows what companies and the harassment that follows. Some of us aren't ok with that.
  7. Except for the fact that FB started this crap YEARS ago, in 2011. I haven't posted anything on FB in over a year and have no trouble logging in. https://nwn.blogs.com/nwn/2011/05/facebook-deleting-second-life-avatar-profiles.html http://www.kimrandall.me/2011/05/20/facebook-deletes-thousands-of-second-life-avatar-profiles-without-warning/ http://www.kimrandall.me/2011/07/26/facebook-and-google-deleted-second-life-responded/
  8. "If caught changing in or out of store" First they tell you to go home to change. Then they tell you if you do you'll be banned for changing OUT OF THE STORE.
  9. I haven't watched one in over a decade. Although I am a Sigourney Weaver fan, I much prefer scifi to horror scifi.
  10. While it won't affect what others see, those options are available in Firestorm: https://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/preferences_general_tab
  11. Come back to Earth before you end up leaving the galaxy all together.
  12. Maddy as in short for Madelaine. The person you replied to. The advisor title relates to post count, not any kind of authoritative position assigned by LL. Btw, Maddy made a statement. She did not ask a question. She didn't ask if you were curious.
  13. It would have no effect other than any permissions you granted via LSL scripts in the collar itself in the normal fashion of permissions. Most, if not all, collars also have an "invisible" setting (transparent) so no one would see it unless they had enabled transparency (ctrl alt t). RLV has to be enabled in the wearer's viewer for anyone else to be able to do anything and even then only after the wearer grants permissions. Unless of course the wearer accepted the collar from someone not a "reputable" seller.
