One of the things you can do is use one of the OpenSim servers and have your own little grid on your pc to use for building and testing after running through Blender. That is my preferred method so I don't have to deal with the beta grid or spend a bunch too much uploading.

He may think it will cause SL to shut down in the next couple of years but I got news for him. Most SL residents are not interested in Sansar. Sansar is not the open world SL is and never will be.

We did. And we have 3 more days of this (if not more). ETA: Some years back LL messed up and the grid was down for a week. Hasn't happened since that I'm aware of. I fully expect it to happen again, this week.

About the only thing that is still up is the forum. Some maintenance they're running this week. You guys ready for the grid to be mostly down for next 3 or 4 days? Hope so, because now all the new(er) people will find out what it was really like back in the day. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I wonder if when we can log back in (and stay in) will our hair and shoes be stuck up our butts again. Man, when LL effs up, they really eff up.

Good grief Charlie Brown. There already is a suggestion box. It's called a Jira. And it gets looked at daily by Linden employees, unlike the forums. Go ahead. Do your suggestion box. Create a thread for it in GD. Then sit back and count the years until LL finally gets around to doing any of them. We asked for mesh. We got sculpts. How many years later did we finally get mesh? Yeah. That isn't going to change anymore than the "we don't get involved in resident disputes" is ever going to change.

Pay to sail. That would certainly kill immersion and pizz a lot of people off.

No, not everyone comes to the forum. Many don't even know it exists. There is no need for a suggestion "box" since LL already uses the Jira for that purpose as well as reporting bugs. Besides, a suggestion box is just another File 13. What is a File 13? The trash can.
