  1. Just open the grid map, zoom out, close your eyes, move the mouse pointer for a few seconds and click. Thats where you want to have your unpredictable teleport to be made.
  2. Right, its 2018 already. You digged out a 9 month old post...Congrats And probably no one knows, if Mr./Mrs. 1491 ever sold a single piece of fashion. He/she didnt even state, if he/she was willing to pay 3000 lindens oder 3000 US dollar per month.
  3. Yes, there is a big variety of opinions about that topic...
  4. She didnt say, the female cuddle buddy has to be controlled by a rl female. So any SL female can send an application. But i could be wrong, of course.
  5. Dont be that mean. She didnt ask for 100% attention this time.
  6. Thats nothing you can fix, sadly. But if you go for a home, then choose one at sea level, instead of a skybox at 2000 meters.
  7. I´ve met quite a lot people who are this way. They join SL, and within weeks or even just a few days they fully upgrade their avatars with lelutka, maitreya and a big wardrobe full of clothes. Not to mention the parcel with a house and 237 items to decorate the rooms and the garden. Needless to say, that no one of them is online any longer. First they needed to have all at once, and then they got struck by boredom.
  8. -Especially your left shoe seems to hover above the ground and the shadow. -Your hair looks a bit like being blown from the front or left side of the pic. Maybe you can focus on the wind by turning the waves to the right direction, or adding some windswept plants. -At the tip of your left shoe the sand/water border makes a hard cut. You could soften that a bit. -The clouds dont look very real, but i guess, you wanted them to look like this.
  9. Dont give up too fast. Its all related to the thickness of your skin. If you feel like an elephant, you did it right.
  10. I suppose, they dont need to be tall, because they have their hoodies to max out themselfes
  11. Made the same observation. At party or rock music locations like "Big Daddys" or "Muddys" women tend to be quite tall. At a soul and RnB club like Anaconda you just see women that are stretched in every (im)possible and (un)thinkable directions. If you go to a techno club like boiler room, you will find the "normal" ones between 5 and 6 feet.
  12. Sometimes you also spot a checkbox with the text "voice verified" on one of the profile tabs. It proves not that much... I would prefer: "One day maybe im voice verified by you, if you dont act like a dick and if you dont try to force me."
  13. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/The-Rat-Avatar/383180 You are welcome
  14. I am not so sure if it counts, but 10 years ago, when skydiving at abbotts aerodrome was a big thing, i used to carry a parachute on my back a lot.
  15. Not to forget to rent your own parcel/sim, where you can force the windlight settings for all visitors.
  16. Hello Xortor, im not an expert at all, but for SL you cant have "enough" gpu power. If you have a few hundred dollars left, buy a new graphic card. That should solve a lot of problems. But still, if you are in a club with 50 other (heavy render weight) avatars, you will see your framerate drop drastically.
  17. I try to create some motion captured animations at the moment, but im at the very first beginning, and my knowledge level is at about one inch above zero. If you know, what i have to do, to give the head bone a 90 degree angle to turn (depending on the neck position), while the rest of the body follows the mocap movement, just let me know, please. I like the last picture you´ve posted. Your smile looks pretty natural and real. Would you tell me the secret? My smiling face expressions look scary, like a creepy android...
  18. Yes, that would be pretty handy to change everything you need, just by using 10x more sliders and options than we have now. When i tried to make my sl avatar looking like myself, i had a big trouble, because you cant even adjust the angle of the eyebrows, for example. But, what you cant do inside sl, or what you cant do in blender or photoshop, other people will build for you and sell it at the marketplace.
  19. Really? Tell me just one game or online plattform, where you have more possibilities than in sl. Just one, please. No, i dont expect an answer, you may leave.
  20. I dont know for sure, but i bet there are acceptable acting children in sl. Brought to life by adults who want to re-experience their childhood again, or who want to live the childhood they have never had. Probably you wont meet those on creepy places like "Sunset beach", where 10 year old girls with lollys in theirs mouths are dancing naked in front of old men avatars.
  21. I know, staring is also not nice, but grimacing shouldnt be the solution. Do you remember the old times, when the avatars turned their heads and rolled the eyes to where you was looking at? Or, when you had a conversation: 2 avatars directly looking into their eyes. That was something simple, but it felt very real. Nowadays everyone is "frozen" within their AO, including myself.
  22. Sorry, then i have misunderstood you. But i dont see a lot of difference to human mesh heads. A lot of them (mostly females) also look like made of porcelain, and some of them dont even bother to change the shape of the head. So you spot a lot of twins everywhere. And talking about being creepy... Im not a big fan of random face animations. Whats the sense of blinking with one eye, looking angry, smiling every 5 seconds, if its not fitting the situation? Its just used, because the HUD makes it possible?
  23. Dont worry, the seamen will stay, but the nude people will freeze by the cold breeze and vanish very fast.
  24. That thread just capsized like the boat in your marina logo. Anyway, your place looks nice and worth to visit.
