  1. I wonder if the unlinking changed whichever the root prim of the building was? Its physics properties (None, prim, or convex hull) will have a bearing on the LI - as well as the mesh parts' "walkability". Physics shape: None will make you fall through mesh floors and walk through walls, convex hull can mean that some prim shapes become impossible to walk into.
  2. Merchant Outbox was replaced by Viewer Managed Marketplace last year. You may need to update your viewer, https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Viewer-managed-Marketplace/ta-p/2854226
  3. partial delivery failure = order was for more than 1 item in trolley - and one or more of these failed - not necessarily yours - you can tell by clicking the order and seeing whether it delivered
  4. same here - delivery failed & delvery partially failed starting to rack up from march 24th - before seems less of a pattern luckily mostly my freebies were affected.... in general, seeing far less purchases than usual - though the failed deliveries dont account for that maybe people are losing confidence in marketplace? eta: ALSO failures on demo purchases (also 0L$ transactions) - this is worrying me more now as frequently then people move on to purchasing full item.... grrrr....
  5. using singularity and have noticed same rezzing on prim surface, not mesh or sculpt opening boxes and taking contents into inventory loading inventory into prim contents i was blaming my connection... what gives?
  6. IRC you need to buy a small amount of lindens before you can start cashing out... Maybe that's the issue?
  7. hahaha the power of complaint, tried again and im in this time
  8. @ oliviatoms - yes I'd liketo take a look at instructional videos please @ pleasure boi: what are projecture textures please?
  9. Lighting is a prim function, you're not able to apply it to one face only. However, playing around with the light options on the features tab, eg range, intensity, fall-off can achieve more subtle effects. I found that lighting from an object can be a bit hard on the avatar from certain angles and placing an invisible prim as the light source at a more suitable spot can make for a more pleasing effect. The other non-light options that make a prim appear "lit" such as glow and brightness may give the illusion of the light coming from the part of the build that you want to indicate as the light "source". Hope this helps. Emma
  10. Welcome back Inyur . Look forward to seeing you back and who knows, impersonating some of my favourite musicians - time zones permitting.
  11. I've experienced this too, also when changing different parameters of the prim. My workaround is to resize the prim, then - before closing the edit menu - making one other change on the object tab, reversing it ... and then closing the edit menu. This seems to make the change "stick". Someone told me it was due to lag / bad network connection / moon phase... take your pick! Hope this helps you .
  12. For me, the forum no longer redirects me either - yay!! Thank you Linden Lab. Now please - roll it out to everyone else
  13. I too came across this problem with my Kinex texture organiser. It took me several hours talking through the issue and potential reasons with members of the Builders Brewery group. Thankfully one member (Lexbot Sinister - thank you so much) had been to an SL Beta meeting and remembered the issue being tangentially discussed. - though the discussion mentioned content limits for attachments only. She finally came across the JIRA which spurred me to subdivide my organiser (approx. 4 - 5 hours work in addition to the time spent tracking down the problem). It is now working again. I am still not clear about the status of this BUG / thing - is it intended behaviour? Certainly it is not well-publicised within SL.
  14. Relevance for my store now completely messed up - item no 2 on this list I have sold once. I don't understand at all what "relevance" means looking at the information returned. Bestselling - does not reflect "bestselling" over time or in the last week... the order appears messed up. As an example item no 2 (again! - not the same as in relevance list, but what's going on with pesky list place 2??)) should be further down the list. What exactly does it refer to? I just fail to see what's going on here. The opening post was rather puzzling: left me wondering what improvements to actually look for. Like others have remarked, the improvements requested by merchants over several years now have not been tackled. Instead there are unspecified changes which appear to make search actually worse rather than better. I hate to be negative! Please, Grumpity, work WITH the merchants. Probably will be shot for this - BUT I would happily pay a higher commission to LL IF marketplace search operated like a proper commercial site.
  15. Yes it;s possible using the rezobject and collision scripting functions for example. You could ask in the WANTED forum for someone to help you do this.
  16. this is hilarious!! thank you so much! )))
  17. VMM hasn't been implemented yet. You do not need the VMM viewer to use the Merchant Outbox, all TPV's will have it. You may want to download a version of the official viewer though and try it. Then if it still doesn't work, raise a support ticket with SL, you do not need to be a premium member to do so. Mention you are using an official viewer - so you don't have to jump through the hoop of them suggesting trying that next.
  18. Bobbie Faulds wrote: Well, this defeats the idea of getting your inventory numbers down to cut down on teleport failures and lag and the time to load your inventory if you're going to have to keep the folders in your inventory now...sighs... There's an old saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It doesn't say, If it ain't broke, let's play with it until it is broken. Keeping Marketplace items in inventory seems like the WORST idea ever - unless I box everything up, it's just going to be very hard to manage. I'd been keeping quiet, hoping this will pass like a bad dream. Should have known it wouldn't... Just who do the Lab talk to to develop a system that actually works for merchants?
  19. For items which are NO copy to YOU such as gachas, you need to get a free Magic Box from SL Marketplace. You can not use the Merchant Outbox in your viewer. As for your own itmes, if they are COPY to you and TRANSFER, then you can use Merchant Outbox. Be sure to check permissions on all aspects of the item (textures, sounds, scripts, animations etc etc). Study this carefully for all aspects of selling: https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Selling-in-the-Marketplace/ta-p/700193

  22. Wow - shocked! This has gone on since 08.18 am (0.18 SLT). Several posters, same kind of thing by the looks of it. Surprised they were able to post at least 2 messages each per minute. This sure looks bad!
