I'd love to have a custom built pc but have no experience, live in a rural place and am unsure about the local computer shop. My budget is around £1,500 - the looks or size of the desktop are of no particular concern. Monitor, keyboard and mouse aren't needed. Preferences: Solid state drive - around 100 gb 500 gb ordinary hard drive better than GTX 660 graphics card cd / dvd drive & good technical support Please help me find a pc that will run SL really well. If you open a store on Marketplace, you can make use of these enhancements. You won't get charged if you don't take the enhancement.

Try Grendel's Children. I've had animal avatars from there - either free or L$1.

Of course there should have been a promiment message at the time the changes were put into place. Appended to an existing thread does not grab one's attention.

Is your outbox telling you to create a store? Yes i have got it enabled. I started to receive them back when they first started, then they stopped maybe 2 months ago - I don't often get reviews, so I wasn't sure if it was just a temporary glitch. All other IM's are going to email ok and there's nothing in SPAM.

Last 3 reviews on items on Marketplace I've not received notices about. Has LL stopped them again? That would be a shame - it was one new feature I really appreciated.

I am not an expert: In the past I've had problems with this stuff too (and I am presuming you've done all the right things - no doubt someone who knows better than me will let you know). Invariably logging out of Second Life and back in has resolved the issue for me.

A very good start would be to take some building classes at the Builders Brewery. They offer prim building classes for beginners and more experienced builders. Also available are classes in making sculpties and mesh. There are also scripting classes to help you understand those better so that you will be able to open your tardis doors. And yes, you can build a tardis - I have made one from prims myself. Happy building
