SL never had these problems when i started. v2 does not suck. i've had a much easier time designing with v2 than i did with any other viewer. meshes suck? Why? web on a prim rocks! Why do you say it sucks? LL sucks? LOL! Teens suck? You suck, not the teens. No gambling, hooray. If I want gambling i head over to Vegas for a couple hours. Does "No Pitbull fighting" suck as well to you? What the hell do you mean by "sucks" anyways. How about: Dog Boat sucks /me shrugs Old farts that can't cope with change suck.
  2. Evangeline, I had a skirt that I can never decide what to wear with it.
  3. DQ Darwin wrote: @Rhonda - Oh! The car. Sorry I thought........ Maayyybbeeee
  4. DQ Darwin wrote: @Rhonda "the skirts hun" But I see those long, lean lines and supple curves and heart starts to race. She may be more than I can handle but I sure want to give her a ride and find out!
  5. Penny, when I saw your name as the last post to a thread about "A" cups I just had to see what you wrote I never really thought about my cup size other than looking in profile and thinking it looks to be about a C or D. I may have to measure it now.
  6. Evangeline Twist wrote: Cute skirt and I love your purse too! I keep looking at the picture but I seem to get distracted. What was I suposed to be looking at?
  7. There are a couple of places to get you started. First is my favorite go to, do anything, learn anything place, the mermaid diaries. http://www.mermaiddiaries.com/2006/11/build.html The portion covering skins is in two parts and you will find them towards the bottom of that page. These are the basics covering what, where and how concerning making a skin. It is more of technical aspects. Second, you can get some very well made skins in photoshop format to get you started. Everything is broken into layers for easy management so it has a lot of the work already done for you. These are available from Elho Eliot at http://sites.google.com/site/another/resources. This is more of the creative side.
  8. Arrr, we be hijacking dis 'ere thread fer costumes.
  9. Kylie Jaxxon wrote: Looks like a lot of fun, but I just have to ask...who is the one bending over on the left side of the pic (what a shot) I have no idea who that is >.> <.<
  10. valerie Inshan wrote: Well this is the right place to post your favorites! Bouhachi fur necklace by Rozoregalia (Edited: gloves were mentioned by Rhonda in the gloves thread!) Hydra necklace and earrings by the same creator I have a limited amount of jewlery and it is mostly bangles and braclets to hide the pionty wrist joints You always have a stylish look no matter what you find to wear.
  11. Marianne Little wrote: And the top from Sn@tch? I never think of Sn@tch as a place for elegant haute couture style. But you really found pieces that look like they were made for each other. Thank you! I think Ivey would have a fright if she found out how I was wearing her tops
  12. Oh, I love her shoes. It is just one of those things when you wear a bigger shape. Mini-skirts become gowns once scaled up enough to go around my hips
  13. It is not too uncommon for me to find a pair of boots I adore so I have to build a look to go with them. But I think this is the first time ever from a pair of gloves. Clover took me to a store call ROZOREGALIA where we were looking at jewlery. I saw the gloves and fell in love. The hat was near by and begged to come along. The high-waisted skirt is from LeeZu. The ruffle top is from Sn@tch and it is a bit more shear than it appears here. Here I am getting dressed for the evening. Then out for champagne at the gallery. Have you ever built a full look form an accessory before?
  14. Here we are. Dressed to impress without looking like I dressed to impress
  15. If I had known this would be a new trend in photography I would have saved all those snapshots I have taken where I blinked!

  17. valerie Inshan wrote: Hi Sasy. First of all, the link you are providing does not work... You might want to check and fix that. I works for me. Maybe you caught it while the grid was borked because it has been struggeling this weekend. If you still one of the old style viewers you need to change "maps" to "slurl" or the links won't work. Try this: http://slurl.com/secondlife/The%20Deck/174/33/22 ((Grrrr ... it's not working ...does anyone remember the format for the old slurl style links?))) ((OK, It's working now. slurl.com not slurl.secondlife.com)) But if you are having problems reaching places linked in the Destination threads (for example) then this change may fix your problems. But then it may be that LL is feeding the hamsters that power the grid at that time so you will have to try again later.
  18. valerie Inshan wrote: Tiffy Vella wrote: I loove those boots (and have a few pairs). I'll go out on a limb and say that Similar Footwear are the best shoe designers in SL. lol Tiffy, I'm a Similar addict too! Such amazing textures and sculpties! They are really worth the L$ we pay for! Best shoe designer indeed! I like the shoes, but the sculpts and textures for the feet ... not so much. They are just way to thin to ever look good with my shape. I'll go back and pick up another demo sometime but I think they are just going to be another place I will not be able to shop.
  19. I was not sure where to put this, but "not so common" just felt like the perfect place. Clover and Lexxie playing at the hangout.
  20. If you want to run the animtion without having to res and sit on the poseball, double click the animation in your inventory. This will open a small window with the buttons "Play Local"" and "Play in World." Local means that only you will see the animation. Everyone else just sees you standing. While running, th button you pushed turns to a "Stop" button. Just push stop to quit doing that animation. In general, animations that come in poseballs do not need to be unpacked. Just res on the ground and sit. They may need positioning once ressed but nothing needs to be opened. USUALLY. There are always exceptions to everthing..
  21. The male of female shape is set by (drumroll) your shape. To change to a female, the fastest way is to put on a female shape. Open your inventory. Go to the Library > Clothing and pick out a female avatar. Just right click and wear any shape you find there. You could also edit your shape and click the "female" radio button.
  22. /me shrugs Some see the glass half full ... other see another dirty dish that needs to washed.
  23. Just how casual should I be? Or maybe just sitting around in a Tee?
