  1. There was a time when breast physics in TPV's caused missing pieces. I wonder if it has something to do with Phoenix not liking the new LL body physics .... Might be worth a shot. Turn off physics in Phoenix. Maybe check the Phoenix forums and see if anyone else is having these issues.
  2. It's the magic method of fixing bugs. Look for help and the bugs disappear It happens to us all.
  3. Have you looked through the marketplace? Maybe try searching for body oils or wet skin. I know they were real popular a couple of years ago and many places still carry them.
  4. Something is odd. Not a typical alpha layer. Try taking off everything you can, but do not use the "remove all" option. Right-click, remove, then take off each piece one at a time. Even you you have already removed your shirt once, if is is still not greyed out, take it off again. The alpha clothing layer is what I would think is the problem. You may have more than one layer on the alpha layer.
  5. Here we go. I'll just snag it from your profile page ...
  6. The pic needs to be on your computer first. Then click the image icon that looks like a tree (between the chain and the film strip). Click the "Browse" button to find the pic you want to use . You may set the size if you want, but it is not necessary. Then hit "Insert Image" .

  8. Cross a sim boundary Actually, I'm not sure. You could try asking in the scripting forums, they might have an answer. But other than using an external device like a Nostromo or programmable keyboard I don't think you can do it.
  9. optiek wrote: why? because she likes what she likes? No. It is because I want to take her at face value but it looks like a new alt drumming up business. Maybe. Maybe she just thought that tagging herself as an escort would be a way to meet people. I don't know. Thus confused.
  10. Mila Edelman wrote: My main point is that, if an item is copy/mod AND has a resizer, it shouldn't be skipped. On this I agree. I am not against the scripts, I am against no mod parts.

  12. Mila Edelman wrote: I don't think one should avoid all that has "resizer" in the description. Just because it has "resizer," does not necessarily mean it's bad, and you can be losing out on a lot of cool stuff by ignoring anything with a resizer. Certain copy-only items with resizers can even be fine. It depends on where they're worn. There are two big problems from resizer clothes. First is the problem that the vast majority of resizers have at least one script in every prim. This means a single, simple skirt brings along 25 or more scripts by itself. Second is the inability to do anything other than scale in place. If all it needs is a little tweak, this is fine. If you have a life-sized avatar and need to reduce a long skirt to fit your shape you can forget about doing it with a resizer script. With a modifiable skirt, it is easy to go prim by prim on the skirt panels and with "stretch both sides" turned OFF, slide them up to a reasonable size all without the need to reposition a single piece. I do not buy no mod skirts. Ever. No matter how much I like it or the person that made it. I have thrown away too many in the past that simply can not be made to fit with scripts alone.

  16. Ah, now I know what you are saying. I would call it "skinny" but that's not quite right. I don't know if it has a name so you can name it if you want I like a shape with little more meat. However I learned long ago not to belittle other people's choices for their avatar. We all build what is attractive to us and portrays how we want to be seen. Now to really show my age ... does any one remember back in the 60's there were these popular posters of young girls dancing. They all had large heads, thin bodies and deep pouts. Maybe the style is coming back around.
  17. Hmm, usually the cone shaped torso is called a man. And the mouth shape is called a frown Actually, I am not sure what you are describing about the torso thing. The corners of the mouth are one of those tricky places in the avatar mesh that can be distorted easily. It is also right next to the corners of the nose and it can get that hard angled ridge running between them and that can be all but impossible to eliminate. I think you are seeing shapes trying to smooth out that problem area at the expense of a happy smile.
  18. You can also edit your shape (and anything you are wearing) through the "Current Outfit" tab. Just click the tool icon when you hover over the part you want to edit.

True, but she probably wouldn't have been able to figure out how to retrieve the answers...that section is a wreck, IMO :smileysad: No one gets "points" for answering questions here but I do agree, the Answers section is not exactly new resident friendly. I would prefer people ask where ever they feel is appropriate rather than not asking at all.

This will open up your possibilities for te perfect image http://analutetia.com/2008/04/20/windlight-presets/ These are the ones I use and you will find they are pretty much the standard included in almost any viewer except for ones from LL.
  21. In SL I have been partnered to the same person since the day I was created. In RL I have been married for 17 wonderful years. And 3 kind of crappy years.

I mean, i wouldn't mind to pay even higher price for a costum work made just for me.. But paying 1.5K for something anyone can have... it's just not my vibe No Copy, No Mod, No Transfer. No way.
  23. WhiteBoi360 wrote: I've also tried moving the AO and then clicking detatch (which should load up in the same spot next time I open it) but even that doesnt work and it STILL goes back to the default location How do you get it to save AO hud location after you move it where you want it on your screen? I hate those things. It contains scripts to reset the position depending on where the HUD is attached.
  24. Yep, measuring with a prim by hand is the only way to get a true height. This is called your prim height. I have seen a few scripted devices that are supposed to tell you your prim height, but what they actually do is add a constant to your scripted height. I have seen this be as much as 9" over your script height. But you have to understand, the peole who make these things are trying to convience the avarage resident that they are too tall or over scale. I don't know what my llGetAgentSize() is but by using a prim, I am 2" taller than the height given under edit shape.
