  2. I guess it is that way for men and how they see other men. I looked up a few articles about pink and the male/female roles. It started off with pink as a boy color because it was associated with red, the color of Mars and blood and other manly/violent subjects. Blue, being a softer, calmer color, was considered the color for girls. This held true until the 1940's. Also happening in the 1940's, the nazi Germans were forcing Jews to wear the Star of David, and in a similar fashion men suspected of homosexuality were forced to wear pink triangles. So at the risk of godwining a fashion thread ... it could be argued that nazis and homophobes are responsible for the negative male view on wearing pink. Weird, huh? If not for Hitlar you would be shunning blue.
  3. And it is not really the color pink that changes anything. This guy is going to look macho in anything. But then with the next one. Well, like I said, it ain't the color of the shirt. @Storm, I thought "real men" did not give a hoot what anyone else thinks about their clothes.
  4. Here, this may help. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlAttachToAvatar It has been a long time since I tried to script such devices because it is easier to just use RLV and lock things in place .. but in therory, wearing the item in the first place granted permission to the script attach items. You still need to check permission, tho. Note, if you call llAttachToAvatar with an item already attached, it will do nothing. Thus the reason for resing a copy and attaching that one.
  5. For what it's worth, I detest those scripts. I may have an AO attached to the top left and then positioned to the bottom right of my screen next to another tool that is already on the bottom left attachment point. I do not want the script to force the AO to another position. I want my HUDs where I put them and in the orientation I put them in. Unless you are scripting for RLVa devices I would strongly advise against self-repositioning. At the very least, consider including a way to disable that feature.
  6. If your object contains a copy of itself, you could res a copy and wear that on the center point, then detach the one on the wrong point.

Should I reported this psychopat and how? Good advise. If it bugs you, you can do an Abuse Report. You can find it from the top menu under Help. And why not mute? Does this person have anything to say you need to hear? I have learned to stop responding to perpetual liars. It will not stop them from barking at your heels but then neither does barking back. It just makes you look like a pair yapping dogs. Mute, ignore and AR for harassment if it bothers you. You can even ask your friends to help by filing abuse reports as well.
  8. Wicked, that is simply stuning. The whole photo, not just the skirt.
  9. It sounds like what you have are demo shapes. These are sold for 1L$ or given out so you can see if the shape will work with your skin. The regular versions will have normal scaled hands and feet.

  11. Griffin Ceawlin wrote: Unless you want the verbal abuse, there's no need for confrontation. Just AR and walk away. This Also, if you did not submit an AR then nothing can be done about it.

  14. You could always look for the older versions from some of the long standing shoe designers out there. Tesla, Zhao, J's, etc. The last pair of non-prim open toed shoes I had were a pair of mules from Inkythings. If it helps, you can turn on a small display that gives the number value of the color under your cursor. I can't remember right off where it is. Develop > Rendering Information > Show Color Under Cursor ... I think. It pops up a set of numbers on the bottom right of you screen. The numbers are for Red, Green and Blue. Just mouse over you shin and and see what the red color is, then mouse over your foot and see what that level of red is there. Adjust one color at a time until it is less than 5 difference between the two. Once it is set, the differences from lighting, presets or different viewers will not be noticeable except for 1.19 version viewers and under -- which could not render prim clothing of any kind properly. And before you throw away perfectly good shoes you have already paid real money for, have you tried getting help from the store? I know some places will match your skin tone for free. Plus, any HUD that let's you set the RGB color in chat is easy for someone else to help you. For instance, I could tell you what to say to get the proper match. Then you can save the skin tone to the HUD.

You can Crtl-click to pick out certian ones from a list. That way you can pick out just the ones you click on and not everything inbewteen. Works just like files in windows. You can even combine the two if you shift-click to highlight a group and ctrl-click to add others OR ctrl-click from the group you have selected to un-select just that one.

I went through there again last week buying up anything that caught my eye. They have been doing an out of business sale for a few mnths now it seems. But now everything is 25L or 1L$. I believe the outfit this skirt came from is a dollarbie but I could be wrong. Oh nice! 25L is a steal for all that good stuff! Sad that it's going out of business though. I don't know if they are re-branding, leaving SL or what. If you look through their store you can find things from, meh to OMG! You can really see the quality of work improve in big steps over time.
  20. From summer of last year before the breeding programs became rampant. These were taken at a riding area but I forget the name. This is a prim horse, but not mine.
