  1. Homes get abandoned at all hours. Many of us work during the day and have managed to get a home during the evenings. You just have to try when you have time to try, and eventually you will get lucky.
  2. Actually, your interpretation is pretty much how it goes in Bay City, and it is how I read it for Bellisseria as well. The point is not to trample on other residents' experience. In Bay City, if you add a little mailbox or sidewalk or driveway, anchored on your own parcel, and they look good and do not hinder passage for anyone else, then we have been told by LL that that is not a problem. When people start being stupid and building annexes across the road is when stuff starts magically flying back into Lost and Found folders. Just show some sense and all is good.
  3. One might make the same observations about those who excessively complain and whine.
  4. I think there was some theorizing at one point about how you could get a somewhat similar effect to swapping houses by sharing a group, and then set both homes to that group so that you could both rez in both houses. Person one then "lives" in house two, and person two "lives" in house one. Actual ownership never changes, but each person gets to be in the location they want. You'd have to set security orbs (if used) for each other and anything else that can only be done by the actual owner (like changing out the house itself). It's not ideal, but it's a thought, I suppose.
  5. I was thinking "oh boy, we're gonna see another thread started..." lol
  6. So many comments to make about this, so many ways to get a forum time out... *slaps own hands off keyboard*
  7. Has someone started an in world group for them yet? lol
  8. I've seen others report inconsistent results all along as far as the drop down goes. I've only seen it as you say, but others have said they have had to click the drop down to see Bellisseria. Maybe a difference in browsers, who knows.
  9. I would, especially around the 4th of July.
  10. There is no obligation to decorate, nor any rule regarding same. There are many reasons that a house may be undecorated, and we have no way of knowing why (nor is it any of our business). Let people use their homes (or not) as they wish, as long as they are complying with the covenant and TOS.
  11. A big prison continent (kind of like the Corn Field, I guess), where the Lindens and Moles get to decide who lives there.
  12. LOL you would know it if I was harassing you. However, I feel obligated to point out that just one page back, you were pontificating about how moles need to stop interacting with us and put their noses to the grindstone. How does that fit in with your constant distractions aimed at them? Again, just curious to understand your thinking.
  13. How many times do you need to be told to stop harassing the moles? Just curious.
  14. Second the thanks to the moles, and to the Lindens as well. They are all people doing their jobs, like (most of) the rest of us. I can't imagine going to work each day knowing I'd face what they face, but they keep doing it anyway!
  15. I'd try live chat first. If a ticket needs to be filed, they will tell you, but sometimes they can come over and handle the issue right away.
  16. It appears that the only one construing the RP animal sanctuary as "commercial and for profit" is you. You'd be better off finding something else to complain about, because you are not going to win this one.
  17. That, or they were already abandoned by their new owners. (And will then reappear in the pool at some point.)
  18. When you successfully get a home from the Dashboard, the system puts your name on the parcel as owner. If you are seeing houses owned by Gov. Linden, they may not have yet been released. There are houses that look to us like they are ready, but are still in final testing, etc. stages.
  19. And how does that apply to what JessycaJayne posted?
