  1. And a little ink pad so visitors can leave a paw print.
  2. They actually are skins, but for the head only. It's confusing because they refer to makeup in the ads, but what is meant by (for example) "Hannah Makeup 1" and "Hannah Makeup 2" is it's the Hannah skin available in two different makeup options (which is the skin with makeup already applied to it). Hope I didn't just make it more confusing. lol
  3. No, let's argue about dancing now! (KIDDING!)
  4. OK, so that is one option. There are many more, though, and tbh I'm not sure why yard sales are even on point in a discussion about TIP JARS. lol
  5. As far as I know, there are people still living in the old Linden homes. Until they have enough new homes to move them all over to, I don't think that LL will be closing down those old homes.
  6. From the link that YOU posted. Nowhere does it mention that the point is yard sales. Next up, is an area that is going to be our first community events space called the Bellisseria Fairgrounds! Our vision for this space is to grant communal access to an area that is clear and ready for set-up of an event. We are going to supply the outlying basic infrastructure which includes water taxi access to the main continent, an airstrip and landing pad. We will have a scheduling calendar and process in place where the space can be reserved in advance. The first events already in line for use of this space will be around the 4th of July holiday coming up. More information to come about how the reservation process will work in the near future.
  7. The "big deal" (although really, it's not... people are just asking) is that very few apparently knew that it had been communicated that tip jars were OK. If there is an official policy regarding this sort of thing at the fairgrounds, it should be made public knowledge. People can't be expected to adhere to rules they do not know about.
  8. It's a very interesting discussion. I've not seen any signs that babysitting is needed (so far, at least).
  9. So there are exceptions after all. Thanks for the additional info, Gingir.
  10. "Anything goes" for skyboxes? That's an interesting, but inaccurate, interpretation of the covenants. I have a feeling that Governance would not agree.
  11. Lil was replying to a specific comment that someone (not you) had made. You are taking her reply way out of context and getting offended over something she did not actually say.
  12. You might receive more suggestions if you post in the Your Avatar Forum. My guess is that you would want to look for skins that come with Omega appliers.
  13. Not quite so clear to me. This bit from @Patch Linden implies there is the possibility of commercial activity to be allowed at some point, in public areas. I think it's a fair interpretation to think that the fairgrounds might be one of those. Maybe not now, but at some point. So yeah, clarification is not a bad idea.
  14. Right, I was referring to the wording of the covenant itself, though. Personally, I am against tip jars at any Bellisseria venue.
  15. Now to muddy the waters and follow up on what Seba just said... does this apply to the fairgrounds? It only refers to "residential homes and houseboats". Hmm.
  16. How cute! But I can't read the names; which mole is that?
  17. It seems to me that the question would be for the person(s) who booked the DJs for the event: did they make the DJs aware about the "no tipping" rule? If not, then the DJs did nothing wrong IMO. Going forward, more care should be taken when bringing in DJs to make sure that they know and agree not to rez a tip jar.
  18. Do you mean in your Favorites list? Mine is holding the setting (I just tried it), so I wonder if it depends on what browser you use. I have Chrome.
  19. Oh, duh at me, I thought kiramanell was asking about the glass and gold table (even though she clearly mentioned pears)! lol
