I also noted that earlier. It seems to be a way to allow items listed as madstyle to be flagged a second time for keyword spam on the basis of their inclusion to the promotion, even if they explicitly have no keywords, and regardless of whether they fit the madstyle description provided by CTL. The result in at least some cases is that the item will be permanently removed from the Marketplace, and any attempt to relist it may be met with punitive action. Yes. This IS really happening. Before you ask why it would be "allowed" to happen, I must first urge you to consider whether allowing it to happen would actually pose some kind of benefit to someone, The items I removed the keyword from were never flagged at all, I decided i would remove them since I did not figure out that the promotion was really for Mad Men style items. UPDATE: the associations to Madstyle are now gone but since I finished updating totally to DD perhaps that did the trick;)

Unfortunately Lindens seem helpless to stop it & there is no info on what to do next. Wish i was joking but its true :catsad: Might be a relief to know your account isn't hacked anyway.... it's just Lindens hackored everything themselves & scrambled the stores. JIRA is here anyway you can add your issue to the long list there if you want. I thought we were calling it the 14XXXX club;)

  4. Clarissa Lowell wrote: This comes up maybe once a year in the forums. Most SLers seem to be INFP (at least the ones who make stuff I guess.) That is really something since INFP makes up only about .5 to 1 percent of the total population! I am an INFP. ENFP [with hermit crab "I" trending]
  5. Lasher Oh wrote: That's interesting I'll need to create a new item and watch how long that takes to appear. I haven't tested my unique words with a new product yet. For this test the items already exist. I was curious about how long it takes a unique search word to appear when I type it in and click the search button. More then 48 hours later I am still waiting to see a result for the words returned when that word is exclusively placed in the keywords panel. However when I placed the same gobblygook word in the 'Features' panel as well - the test item came through within 10 minutes. Interesting eh? Gets me thinking, if keywords placed in the keywords panel don't actually rank so highly in the search factors or algorithms or whatever terminology is correct - why on earth are the CLT police slapping people for keyword spam? ^L^ I removed all the "madstyle" keywords from my listings after the rainbow items were flagged and the ones that were changed by me still show in the madstyle promo. Sigh. So indexing does not now work on keyword updating?
  6. Arwen Serpente wrote: Dhyana, I just received word from Support regarding my order payment. The transaction does appear, but on May 7th. It's rather disjointed because the Order was dated November 6, 2011 (when the shopper put the item in their cart), the email confirmation came through on May 10. There is no record of this order at all when I look at Reports->Orders even though it is now complete. I hope that you will hear from Support soon and they will be able to help you. Well, I guess that answers the" cart clean-up routine and when is it run" question in my mind. If it was placed in the cart in November, as an "old form" [pre-DD] product, and then was deliverd as a DD product [although I see most of your items are still boxed and not folder w/drill down items] could that have affected the order?

  8. Yikes this is certainly not conducive to "folder dressing" especially when a friend logs in
  9. Marcus Hancroft wrote: I had two prefabs that I used the "madstyle" keyword in and they were both flagged for keyword spam and removed. I relisted them minus the new "madstyle" keyword also. I thought they were perfect for the theme. I have come to the conclusion that the keyword is only meant for clothing designers. So that leaves ME out. WEll, take two. Clothing also may be flagged even though everyone knows hippie and rainbow are almost hand-in-glove my Rainbow items were keyword spam-flagged.. insert 60's Avalon posters that I own in RL here. As was said in the 60's May the baby Jesus open your mind and shut your mouth;) ETA go figure the first poster of an Electric Flag Poster was indeed flagged lol
