  1. It's entirely inappropriate to name a region "Quaker Meeting". There *are* Quakers who use Second Life, and we do have a meeting. This would be like naming a region "Baptist Church" or "Catholic Church" or "Buddhist Temple". The region named "Quaker" might be named after the parrots, or the people who play Quake. But there is no other meaning I'm aware of for "Quaker Meeting."

  7. I noticed this a couple of months ago too. It's consistent whether I'm on Linden land or on a prim. And no, I don't have prim feet on, and they aren't heels, just regular prim shoes over a system shoebase and Linden avatar feet.
  8. Welcome! I'm glad to see how you're starting out. If you continue in this fashion, I have great hopes for what you can bring to Linden Research and to Second Life. And thank you for recognizing that we are your customers.
  9. I'm sorry, but you are whining. I didn't read the chat transcript, but your post here is just whining. And this follow-up comment is not only whining, it is telling us, your customers, that we are wrong, and wrong-headed. Now, I happen to think that some of the comments I've read here are wrong and wrong-headed, and others I simply disagree with. But you are being paid to deliver a product to all of us, and if you need to complain about us, you should do it with your colleagues, not in public.
