What I've experienced is a rash of non-rezzing homes. I keep putting in tickets or having chats with support to get these parcels fixed (even if I don't plan on keeping them). Much to my surprise when my alt landed a log home this morning, I was able to rez a house on the empty parcel! Apparently there was a restart after the previous owner abandoned. One less ticket! BTW, it wasn't your parcel that she got, @Laurelrose Anthony

The Colorado has always been my favorite camper style. I love what you and Mercedes did with it. Inspired!

Those are wonderful tips @Claireschen Hesten. I’ve had to contact live chat in recent weeks about nonexistent houses in several locations in the log home regions. Region restarts via live chat fixed things right away. Yay. for live chat support! Update - I just experienced this again about 10 minutes ago. @Evie Linden restarted the region and reset my mailbox. Took less than 10 minutes.

It took me a long time to embrace the log homes. The rollout lasted at least a month, so I got a chance to experience a lot of different locations. It did hearten me to know that if I gave up my “perfect” location that I might be able to land it again in another region, with a region name that I preferred. Now I’ve got the front of the Grand View facing a charming pond. Even though my initial reaction was “deja vu all over again,” it’s starting to feel like home.

I haven’t had a chance to try for a houseboat in weeks. No guarantee that you’ll get a better location, either, @Nika Talaj. In the meantime, I’ve released some beautiful Trads, Vics, and Log homes in recent weeks. The heart wants what the heart wants.

Ironically, I wasn’t waiting for this release. My alt stumbled into it by randomly clicking on a camper. What a view!

I made an alt premium yesterday, so I could keep hopping. Now her first abandon is stuck on her land page. I put in a ticket and talked to live chat. Maybe it’s the universe telling me, “be grateful for what you have! “

I thought this looked familiar. I released it last week. It was a lovely, though sandy, spot.

Normally when I get a home, I clean out all the previous owner's personalization before I abandon. I left that texture, because it made me smile.

@Sylvia Tamalyn, I’ve had some people hang around a little too long after I’ve gotten a house. I usually end up leaving for awhile, even though, I know I could eject them. I don’t mind the stuck Vic as a Bellisseria placeholder, so we don’t have to see Meadowbrook instead. Every once in awhile, it turns out to be an available Vic. I feel like I got the prize in the Cracker Jack box.

Didn’t they have a release on Labor Day? Those Lindens love to keep us on our toes. 😊

I've always loved Foxbridge. A different alt had a house on the river there. It was a great spot for boating. This one has a beautiful sunrise view. It really does feel serene.

Congrats, Tamara! I was feeling slightly guilty when my alt landed Foxbridge. It turned out that the alt I was trying with was all out of chances. I thought for sure that I would miss it. I'm certainly not the fastest clicker in the world. When I logged in with another alt, I thought I was going for a different Trad. It really is random luck.

I fully expected the Vic I just landed in New Farthing to be just another sticky on the land page. It's back in the pool now. Inland corner parcel.

I wasn't quite sure where to post this. It could have gone under "Beautiful Abandons". Anyone who remembers my lust for green parcels would also know that I can't hold onto sandy (even waterfront) ones for long. I snagged a sandy beach parcel in Gallaudet with the sinking feeling that I'd have to let it go to someone who would not want to throw down a green prim lawn. But I immediately fell for this little touch created by Milli Mole and @Silent Mole. It's right beyond the boundary to my parcel. Let the dreaming begin!
