  1. This was so tempting, Chloe, however, I thought I'd have some restraint because the designated alt is set to retire in a couple days. Wouldn't you know, that Anastasia idly clicked on a great Trad in Holliday? Once again faced with a dilemma:
  2. I lived in a home growing up that was mid-century modern. Didn't really care for it and have no interest in returning to the time period. If you’re taking requests, @Patch Linden, sign me up for craftsman bungalows! 🌟❤️🌟
  3. @Marianne Littlethe stilts are almost as rare as the houseboats! At least more are being built, so people can vie for them during region releases. My way of acquiring a Linden home is haphazard. I don’t bother with auto refresh. When I log into the land page, if there’s a theme I’m interested in, I go for it. I’ll refresh a few times. I landed a houseboat this morning, but it didn’t check all the boxes, so I realeased it.
  4. I was never a pink, frilly kind of girl growing up. Since I got a Zooby baby girl, I've gone over to the dark side. This would work in the nursery for her.
  5. If you're looking for a Trad, now's a good time. I picked up a lovely spot in Pearlcoast. Not the water side, but a beautiful hidden gem. They've been consistently on the land page this morning.
  6. I'm probably the last person that should answer this question, since I've never donated tier to group land. You won't however, be able to up your prims to 703, in Bellisseria. The most you'll ever get on a parcel in Belli is 351.
  7. I found it through your original post by just wandering around the windmills. 😉
  8. I watched Patch’s interview live in its entirety. He mentioned that there would be 8 models for this new theme. I only found four at the demo site. The other four must have room dividers. He also mentioned that Premium Plus was way on the back burner, because we’re not out of the pandemic yet. Considering financial concerns for residents, the Lab didn’t want to promote a luxury item. I think the modern homes are in the works, @Nika Talaj Crosses my fingers
  9. It was my first Bellisseria home, @Sister Nova. I love bad puns and I cannot lie.
  10. I cheated, @Nika Talaj I flew through the tunnel. Why walk when you can fly?
  11. I grew up in a home (midwestern version of Cape Cod) that had dormer windows and arched ceilings. This kind of brings me back to my childhood and teens. Also, Zooby brought out wings for their babies, so I can see my little one fitting nicely into this home.
  12. I am so impressed, Evangeline! Your persona was/is masterful. It kind of explains the absence of the Bellisseria Squirrel, too. Just when you decided to take a break, I had been devising a scenario for an encounter with Slendie. The mystery intrigued me, but I accepted Slendie for who he is and and the kind heart that was hidden within him. I never contemplated his real identity. Thank you so much!
  13. I'm a prime example of failed hand offs. I don't even attempt to hand off a favorite spot from an alt to my main account. I've had more people get the house that I was trying to transfer than the person I intended it for. My biggest heartbreak was when a kind forum member tried to hand back a Trad that my alt had given up. Instead someone else intercepted it during the hand off. There were enough forum members that remember my love for the long lost Deckard location that when the next owner tired of the house, I was alerted on the forums that it was coming up again. Yet again, the transfer back to me failed. My good fortune was that the person who landed it didn't want to keep it. After a few fumbling back and forth of missed homes and abandoning the ones we landed, I finally got it back on an alt. Those transfers are usually not very straightforward and not guaranteed!
  14. Always enjoy seeing what you're up to interior design-wise, @Loretta String
  15. I spent some time at Ebbe Tide this afternoon. I remember when the region was released. Made me always think of Ebbe whenever I encountered it.
  16. Abandons find you. It’s a wish and a prayer. I tend to move around a lot. The other forum members can attest to that. I don’t usually get in on new region releases. I still remember my very first houseboat region release that I stumbled into. It seemed like time stood still as I clicked on the houseboat theme. I missed the Prairie Schooner release, but I spent time at the lighthouse and roamed the coast admiring the views. The Moles and Lindens create such charming spots to enjoy a view or soak up the atmosphere that you don’t have to own a home in a region to be a part of it.
  17. Thank you to whoever got bored with this log home in Prairie Schooner.
  18. Oh, Slendie, I’m going to miss your evil ways. You made me laugh more than you’ll ever know during the dark days of 2020. 🌟🌻🌟
  19. Different strokes for different folks, I love the dark green!
  20. @Patch Lindenpatiently explained to me 2 years ago about the decision to not recycle the old Linden home continents. At the time, it would take more work to reconfigure the regions than to create them from scratch.
  21. Did a stilt region release this afternoon? I got a sold out on Stilt on Water, but they continued to show for me about 3 more times.
  22. I discovered the longest boardwalk between Beachy Keen and Gannet Rock. It demanded roller skates. https://gyazo.com/97d5ef8ec03392f9da37537481e43310
  23. h This is the first time I've only seen Chalets on the land page. A few seconds later, a Vic showed up. https://i.gyazo.com/8b2b8426b92d5a45e1b2738434da29d6.png
